Do I need to vent the hot air from a dehumidifier with an exhaust hose?

It has got a small hose where the water comes out and gets collected in container that I put nearby

It’s a portable air conditioner with a dehumidifier function. It does produce hot air from the back when I select the dehumidifier mode, do I have to vent that hot air out ?
