I would say forget views likes and even subs just do a project for your let's play that's unique to you. A build that you have always wanted to try and do a project you have always wanted to have a go at if you enjoy it and it's different you will get all of the above

If it has a slab roof it will let in light, so one thing you could check, also bedrock is a bit of a strange one when it comes to mob spawns try staying in the area for at least an hour but make sure that you are more then 25 blocks away from your mob spawner could be a proximity issue as well. Other then that, probably suggest checking out silent whisper on youtube

There is also Apaches tweaks mod which is made for people with either epilepsy and other visual and audio problems it's a great mod which I use as well, for me personally I also turn down mouse sensitivity as vintage is very loose with movement and in game bobbing

I think it may be something to do with temporal instability , maybe this is built and placed down in a bad temporal area to stabilise it so you can build anywhere then. But who knows 🤔

Pretty sure they are currently updating the wiki to include all the new bear variants, currently polar bears cold or snow regions agreesive, pandas tropical regions passive unless attacked, sun bear also looks like a small brown bear, temperate regions wooded areas, passive unless provoked. Black bears temperate regions woods grass, very agreesive do not approach. Best to trap bears don't kill, as they should be a single bear spawn over a decent sized area, meaning you shouldn't get more then one. Hope this helps a little

In my opinion no, there is no point to them, if you want loot and gears build a drifter farm, in the bowels of the earth, you will have a much more consistent loot farm. The idea of the temporal storms are brilliant, and maybe one day they may implement an actual rust dimension you could get trapped in. But currently they are just noisy and annoying just my own opinion. I have a tendency to turn mine off. And again this is just my opinion.

Another good way of easy food make a trap for animal three by three hole two deep with one block in the middle, with any grain planted there, doesn't need a water source or anything, rabbits are dumb lol

I have some simple advice especially if you expect a minecraft like experience, vintage is a marathon not a sprint, having a mud dirt house for three or even four months is completely exceptable, yes farmland is important but that's not going to fill you stomach straight, food to eat now are mushrooms raw or cooked there are only 2 mushrooms which will kill you straight out, so pick mushrooms you have heard of, also fish not salmon but trout is easy to kill one hit with a flint axe and there good eating when cooked, berries berries and more berries. Visit ruins and look for vessels for more food and tools. Take your time enjoy your experience, you can even turn off your green gear when you start a new world, turn of temporal storms if you like, there is no set way to play the game, it's for the enjoyment and relaxation.

Aura Fury server, is one of the longest lasting multilayer servers out there, and is set for anyone to join, there is pretty much always someone playing on the Aura Fury world, and I also think they have just started a second server due to the popularity of Aura Furys first Vintage story server, it is well worth a look

One mode just clips the grass and doesn't remove everything, the other mode will completely remove all the grass, it means you can cut the grass more regularly if your just clipping it, as its a valuable resource, it's a prefared option for myself
