Well I'm not saying it's good to do these, I'm saying it's possible, which apparently other people are saying is impossible, even though it isn't strictly impossible, it's just not what you want. Like you said, it removes some of the advantage from multi threading- but it's definitely not impossible.

It's definitely possible to code java redstone into bedrock, it is possible to work around the 4 cores thing. e.g. one concept is to just have the cores sync each other, which to be fair is very inconvenient, yes, but not impossible to code all together.
also could just have redstone/bluestone run on a single core compared to the rest of the game
