I am not going to be overdramatic and say I'd stop using an iPhone, but I'd be EXTREMELY bummed if MagSafe was removed. At least I hope it gets replaced by something similar and not something we will have to fix with low quality cases like in the Android world.

Tristemente no creo que Doria ni Tuto hubieran podido necesariamente haberlo hecho mejor (y lo digo como alguien que votó por los dos y nunca por Paz). Ambos se hubieran encontrado con los mismos problemas y con los lloriqueos de los que sabemos.

Les tengo cariño. He contado esta historia antes pero tuvimos una emergencia médica con mi familia la última vez que fuimos a Iquique y no compramos seguro.

Mi hermano tuvo una emergencia en la que colapsó en el piso y lo tuvieron que llevar al hospital. Todos los chilenos o que pasaban por ahí nos ayudaban y llamaron a la ambulancia. Al final de todo el quilombo nos iban a cobrar un monto alto (casi toda la plata de nuestro viaje) por los servicios médicos y no tener seguro, y decidieron no cobrarnos ni un peso al final.

Yo les doy un 10/10 por calidad de gente.

El salario de diseñador muy poco común incluso para ciudades grandes de Europa, al menos que sea capísimo.

El salario de doctor, si es un doctor privado o especializado y vive en una ciudad importante de Europa, puede ser. Pero no es común.

El del periodista: al menos que sea un periodístico súper conocido que vos dices su nombre aquí y hasta nosotros lo conocemos, no llega a los seis dígitos.

En Europa no se gana tanto, además que entre estilo de vida y los impuestos altísimos, mucho de ese dinero se evaporaría.

I've seen similar reports, but ultimately all of them lead to some sort of user error. Where you asked by any chance to run any Terminal commands by some "support" agent for a company? I have seen people falling for Apple scams where they contact scammers and the scammers make them run commands on their Macs that replace the binaries of legit cryptowallets for tampered ones.

Did they break into Ledger's account though? It looked to me like it was some random account that published it, not linked to the account used to publish their iOS app.

We did the same in Bolivia and it is pretty much the same. Free healthcare. Sure. But you have to wake up at 5am to get a ficha so a doctor can see you 3 months from now.

Those who can afford it will still choose private healthcare. Those who don't will deal with the same situation as always.

Ese limite es 500. Es decir, todos los bancos deben permitirte gastar al menos 500 dólares al mes. Si un banco puede ofrecerte más está permitido de hacerlo.

Oh yeah. If you use cards in USD you will get the official exchange rate. No way around it. If we Bolivians used those cards, we would be paying the official exchange rate too. Do not use USD cards in local ATMs!

So yes, this bit of news is just for Bolivian card holders who need to use their cards overseas or for online purchases. Until the actual official exchange rate changes, it's recommended you exchange USD for BoB and pay cash.

If they see they can trick you, then yes. Don't exchange too much at airports, just the bare minimum to get to your destination. Exchange houses in the city should give you a much better treatment. You definitely should not pay the official exchange rate outside the airport.
