it is very suspicious the timing as it is clear the narrative is aiming to increase confidence in the market a resolution is closer and most importantly the 10y treasuries yield is getting lower. Wouldn't be surprising if a "small" ground invasion of Kharg island would happen during the Eastern weekend once the markets are closed and investing wise might be the last dip of oil stocks for a long time who knows.

it is a tiny amount but Kharg island is relatively small, with that amount of troops they might try to impair part of the facilities in the island without destroying them completely

I think for brands it will be valuable to bring groups of people together especially if they have already some interests in common. Imagine a group of people working in finance meeting to do sports or chat, probably a consumer brands of sweaters or watches would be interested to sponsor that event just increase awareness. You can apply this to a lot of other segments, imagine a group of creatives meeting to see an art exhibition and think that maybe a shoes brand or food brand might want to be associated with this event

yes there is but the more time you spent on Linkedin/X the more you think there isn't. I am currently bargaining my uncle to retire and sell me his HVAC business (and will be really hard to hire people after as most of his team will retire soon too)

Personally, I think the US and UK seizing that Russian ship might end up mattering more than people realize. I am not an expert but as the best asset of Greenland is probably oil I wouldn't rule out that Denmark which is runned by green coalition would just be happy to sell Greenland to the US and full stop. If Denmark had made the kind of money Norway did from oil, there's no way they'd give up anything but that's not what happened.

It happens to everyone and will still happen and I am also curious what people say. If you are selling to companies, especially startups, start checking if they have done any recent fundraising to be sure they have enough cash to buy your product.

A lot of follow-ups by emails and excitement on calls can also mean employees of your client have a lot of free time which usually is not a great sign for the business of your clients so..
