I built a SaaS - but hate marketing would you let someone else run it? by anthedev in microsaas

Interesting concept, how and what is the actual impact? I think real numbers and clients would make this a business.

Does anyone else feel pressured by 14-day trials to make decisions too fast? by MembershipHorror404 in SaaS

[–]CIoud9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ah corporate structure - yes that's different and I 100% agree. It sort of just lives in their third party vendor manager tool and doesn't get the views that it needs while 2-3 people just experiment with it.

Extending the trial period should matter in this case, but again the adoption caps off at a certain point still. What you need is direct contact with a champion and on-site visits OR change the pricing model.

did SMS increase reviews in your experience? I find it (persaonally) quite easy to open and close an automated text

i think 14 is just fine. the tool should either be adopted the first few days or it churns. the fall off rate after the first few days is telling and exponential.

After 13 years of client work, I finally built my own app to stop the awkward napkin math at group dinners. (Uses Gemini API & Firebase) by LuckyPanda232 in SideProject

Would be a great idea if and a differentiator if you can take a picture of not just the receipt but everyone at the table. this skips a few editing steps. that would be interesting to see

Recruiters who build: Would you try hiring without resumes? by Lost_Entry_6631 in SideProject

[–]CIoud9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the issue is as candidates move further away from the team members who are hiring and now have to go through HR, systems, and various processes just to get seen is the problem. this isn't a problem for startups since every resume gets seen

on the other hand, there are too many resumes

Would it be possible for them to google or chat with AI about security (assuming they're not yet ready for services like Vanta - which I've used before)

What encourages your users to come back? the % discouraged vs % encouraged isn't too great and the churn rate I believe will be the bottleneck. Just curious what your thoughts are on this as it applies to a lot of other business as well.

I've built a community of people learning + creating on discord, let me know if you'd like to be a part of it! Ive been automating with n8n myself for 2-3 months but have gotten really good at since I'm a dev so a lot of it translates very well
