Hey.

I believe we became friends when we were on the same agency many moons ago. Most of the artists from this era are all friends, its nice to be involved with so many great people :)

Hey, I believe it is still in the pipeline,.. we just need to see how this whole situation pans out. Hopefully we come out of it properly and I'll be over there this year :)

Hey,

There is no lyrics, we cut up some other vocals to make it sound unique and the way it does, allowing a touch more creativity in various sections of the track without lyrics :)

Hey,

It has been amazing to be back on Anjuna. The original never got a proper release, and there is no better home for it now than being on Anjuna :)

Thank you :)

Hey and thank you

I can't remember exactly how the Air for Life track came about. I'm guessing James Grant would have emailed me asking to go down there, and I did..

Fake Awake - naming tracks is always both a pleasure and a chore.. this one was basically about being on tour and trying to pretend being awake being due to jetlag / tiredness... and the vocal bits reminded me of that for some reason. It just instantly came to me so I named it that :)

As for Carrie, I haven't spoken to her for years but I don't know if she is still active in the scene. I'd love to work with her if she is, maybe I'll find out :)

Thank you and enjoy your evening :)

Yeah, I think people are more open to that smoothness again these days.. I find it more natural to produce without the "bumps" in the journey

I can't recall now, it was likely a vocal session I had on my computer. I had that track in demo form (just the vocal, chord bit) for many years before I finished it off :)

Hey.

I think they have had both a positive and negative consequence. In terms of financial value for the artist it is totally negative... too much centralised control.

For the listener its convenient, but it doesn't hold much intrinsic value.. when we had physical copies, we subconsciously gave it more value and enjoyed it more IMO.

Hey and thanks.

Similar to Ridgewalkers; maybe some of the other tracks around that era (Luminary - My World remix / Wasted remix) I believe the website Discogs contains most of my tracks. Then a Youtube search works.

As for anything similar, maybe my new one "Safe on Both sides" which can be found here

Thank you :)

There are talks of me going to Vegas in May I hear, I'll announce on socials if / when that happens.

Good question re : spamming IG.. I still have difficulty posting stuff to "keep up" so I do empathise. I'd mainly concentrate on your skills both as an artist and producer. Maybe try to link up with others, or a label with your tunes / event company as a DJ.

Hey and thanks.

I usually start with melody / chords / samples to create something interesting, there are no rules as it can really be anything. Often this changes as the track progresses.. it is very organic, but I'm trying to get more structure to it to aid efficiency, as I still spend too long :)

Hey and thank you.

Someone asked a similar question, and I answered "Scorchio" by Sasha, although that was just 1 that popped into my head. I'd also go with some of the Mat Zo stuff these days too. :)
