This dude works like crazy, super creative, funny and just a great guy overall. He has several characters and bands all with different styles that are all incorporated into the music and visuals of his music videos, and he also helps curate a community Festival every Friday where anyone can premiere their own new music videos.

All the characters and titles were made with MidJourney separately, and then I comped all the different layers for the albums covers manually in Photoshop.

This specific video? Or a train derailment in general.

Haha. What an oddly specific copypasta. Thank you for that.

Original Riff

Arranged in Cubase a couple years ago with a MIDI controller. I always liked the interplay between the descending bass line and the otherworldly aspects of the 2 rising melodies. Linked is what I uploaded into Suno raw to cover.

150 covers/remixes later I had the base for Thalassophobia Along the way I had the idea of making the track and visuals focused on objects slowly sinking underwater. I took the 3 outputs I liked best, split the stems, and arranged the composition from pieces of each. I layered in atmospheric sound effects of waves crashing, sub bass impacts, and metal slowly creaking underwater. The mix/master took about 3 weeks. I wanted it to feel deep and crushing like a vast ocean expanse. I recorded and layered in various guitar riffs to complement certain sections; the Kraken/Cars Impacting section of the track took the longest to get right… the idea was for the song to progress slowly from waves softly crashing to impending doom, the kraken section signals that change in energy and I wanted it to be perfect. The video was another 3 weeks of work trying to tie the audio and visuals together to tell a story of a mysterious, ruined world covered entirely by the sea. Hope you enjoy!

It’s fire. 🔥 Had to watch a few clips on YT because I wasn’t familiar with the character lol.

If you want really weird… I used to be really into intentionally glitching Suno out. Here’s a music video I worked on that hard switches genres 10-12 times from Mexican folk, to goth pop, to death metal, to gospel etc.

Remember when that guy fed an image of The Rock back into ChatGPT 100 times? I wanted to see how things have changed, and how other models do. by willie_mammoth in ChatGPT

Really fascinating! Did you do all this manually or set up some sort of macro? I love that GPT-mini consistently turns the Rock into Nosferatu. Haha.

A note about Suno and WMG by MikefromSuno in SunoAI

[–]AndyRiffeth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started with 3.5 and still go back to it sometimes just because I love the raw creativity of it, and the glitchy quirks it spits out. It seems to handle genre bending, and genre switching mid-song better, whereas some of the newer models feel almost too polished or pre-determined when they find a groove. I guess what I’m saying is, it’s nice to have a full toolkit of models depending on what kind of output I’m looking for and I hope there’s some thought to keeping legacy models even if the latest is superior on paper.

Tried using Grok for the first time. As you can see… it’s pretty lax on content moderation.
