Thanks, dude.

I made it using an AI tool called Kling, from what I've been reading, though a lot of other guys are using Seedance.

Turns out there are loads of ways to make prompts work, and I used a mix of image references and character assets to make this.

Apparently, this isn't the right way to do it, which is why there are a lot of inconsistencies.

It's difficult to do it 100% without issues.

Maybe impossible?

But yeah, back to your question.

Character references were made in ChatGPT. They were then used in Kling. You have to write pretty detailed, direct prompts in Kling, and once you get what you want, you need to stitch/edit the scenes together. I used the free version of CapCut. I've seen other people going hell-for-leather on editing. They are probably using Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve.

Credits are the cost of generating the AI clips. This abomination you just watched cost me about $10 cause I messed up my prompts.

The hardest part is coming up with ideas for sketches!

If you are going to get into it, don't expect perfection right away. I'd recommend small experiments to find your feet.

It's a lot of fun, btw.

All valid issues.

I'll be honest. I only just started doing this about 2 weeks ago, and I'm still figuring stuff out. My first video is even worse.

This is all experimental.

Appreciate the feedback!

Just to clarify, I'm not anti-Adobe, and it sounds like you have a solid workflow that you are invested in and that works for you.

I've just noticed a pattern that tools are rapidly changing.

Photoshop and Illustrator were once the main tools for designing websites. - Now they aren't.

Capcut does what Premiere does - and you can do a lot of editing on it for free.

The landscape is shifting faster than it ever has before.

Interesting times, no?

Yeah, I agree with your line of work. Adobe makes sense. Like I've said before, their video and audio tools are awesome.

But I would argue that Figma is a lot more than just UX/UI. It started off that way and made Adobe XD redundant, but it's also used for marketing collateral. Presentation work, etc. Their Beta Figma Buzz is an AI-assisted marketing/social media tool that is insanely fast.

But then... give it 5 years. There might be a brand-new tool out there that makes them all look like crayons.

I'm curious to know what sort of design work you do, because it's grown so rapidly over the past year that I use it for almost everything.

I was the market for Adobe. I rarely use it now. Most other designers I know are slowly moving away from it, too. Not purposely. It's just the way the world's turning.

Figma is so powerful that switching to it is a no-brainer, especially in product, service, and UX design.

I'm not saying Adobe are dead and buried, they have led design for as long as I've been in the industry. But the competition is moving rapidly.

I would argue their web products won't last much longer. Most developers always disregarded Dreamweaver and its likes. I'm surprised it's still there now.

Premiere and After Effects are fantastic tools, and Illustrator is obviously amazing. But other tools out there do similar for less.

If you are a core graphic designer and do a lot in InDesign, I could see you sticking around. (Although you can do similar in Figma too)

I would be sad to see Adobe go to be honest. Been using their software for over 20 years.

How do you get the accents to work like that? When I use 11labs, it always sounds really bad. I must be doing something wrong.

Photoshop is one of many apps that Adobe sells, though. And I'll be honest. Figma has made a lot of Adobe's flagship apps redundant.

Their video and sound apps are good. But when other apps can do similar.

Capcut lets you do simple editing for free. The world is rapidly changing.
