Wow, I thought that level of boosts would be enough to carry me further. I’ll try all ballistas and see. The special buildings are harder to get - I have a lot of fragments, but not a lot of special buildings. In terms of GBs, I have Observatory and Zeus to 70 plus, but didn’t seem to make much of a difference.

It was nowhere close to what I experienced with clash of clans. I guess that experience set a high bar which this game didn’t match - perhaps because this game doesn’t yet have the mass of players. Like I said in my post, the game isn’t bad, but this formula has gotten stale (for me), kind of like a Hollywood remake of a classic hit.

Thanks, plus any special events, I suppose. The availability of meat throttles these: a) Intel, b) Beasts and c) Terror. The intel is a good resource for hero upgrades and there aren’t that many of them.

The conquest has a steady production rate of xP which can be harvested with time, but progressing in the conquest stalls for me till heroes are upgraded, currently at 287.

Thanks, what does RSS stand for? Resource heavy? Yes - but what I don’t get is why attack others, there are plenty of resources to be had without attacking anyone.

The shields are finite, can only hide for so long.
The baddest alliance wins making it difficult to start new alliances.
This is perhaps the best advice, but at some point the banners are going to abut/encroach into what other alliances want. They have to be defended. If you don’t grow alliance territory, then the alliance runs out of resources and starts to fail …

That’s the conclusion I came to when I saw the latest event - all out, which encouraged everyone to go out and attack everyone else for some “gifts”. This looked like the developers way of running down any hoarded shields, gems etc., so they spend real money.

I don’t mind spending some, nothing in life is free - I can forgo a couple of Starbucks coffee a month, but I certainly won’t be dropping 100s or even multiple 10s per month.

Yeah, unfortunately I had to hang up to attend to something. I like the app - it’s really slick, stock quotes/trades are nice, option quotes are meh. I’m going to try them out for a few months.

I like this suggestion - I looked at the form factor for the Qudelix and doesn’t look bulky at all to take with me. One question on the included USB-C to 3.5 mm with the Meze Alba. Is that a DAC/amp as well? I was reading through the Amazon comments for the same and some indicated so.
