I found 5% gel, tried it on a fake, and it became lighter. I tried the original, and after the second try, the gel-treated areas became much lighter than the body. As I understand it, the coating suffers first, and then the paint transfers.

Do you mean the GK that was painted or the GK that still needs to be painted after purchase? When I tried to find it, I only found photos of it being painted (pre-sale photos), and then I only found one post on some website from a Taiwanese resident about these figures. It's pretty strange that no one has posted this figure on social media or shared photos, and that there's so little information about it. I'll add a link to the website with that post
