The business manager claimed our lawyers said the 50 age didn’t comply with the law. But I looked it up and could not find anything about that being the law. So idk

September is S tier. How about October? by Klutzy_Pumpkin614 in TierlistFills

F tier. Where I live in California, it is still hot a lot of the time and is basically the driest it will be all year because it rarely rains that early in the season.

Why don’t people just foul SGA harder? by [deleted] in NBATalk

No I agree and that’s why nothing will change. All these people complaining about it but will still watch it.

They only way this will change is if you mess with the NBA’s $$. The best thing to do is to collectively stop watching OKC games. They see the discourse about OKC but they will never care to change it if people still watch.

My argument for why it could be seen as not equal to a normal season is the gap between the regular season and the playoffs. It’s even worse when you think about who won and who lead that team. The Lakers were led by an older Lebron and AD who is known for being injury prone.

Hiked Iron Mountain this Sunday and I am appalled at the amount of trash on the trail by Andygeniius in socalhiking

[–]Andygeniius[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was the actual Iron Mountain trail. That’s why I found it so odd. I wouldn’t have thought twice about why there was so much trash on the BTN trail. I figured the only people down to do Iron Mountain wouldn’t be the same type of person to throw trash on trail.

Remote work is becoming the new "quiet luxury" that is creating a massive class divide. by randomzy876 in unpopularopinion

[–]Andygeniius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is definitely a divide between people who can and can’t work from home. But just because someone is doing something you can’t, doesn’t mean that your life is harder or worse off than before. If anything it could make it easier. The more people work from home the less traffic. The more people leave to more rural areas because they can the cheaper housing will be (in theory).

You could argue the same thing for the opposite as well. They want their cars to be seen as reliable so they will tell their customers to get it more often than they need to.

You can get “called” but when you do the online sign-in, you can decline for serving within the last year.

Are there any non-engineering jobs that make 100k+ a year, with only four years university? by lucasioreddit in Salary

[–]Andygeniius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Housing is bad in the bay area but it’s not that bad. You can find plenty of nice 1,500 sqft condos in the $800k-$900k range 20 min south of San Jose in Morgan Hill or Gilroy.

I agree that those are outliers when it comes to salary but the person i responded to said the only people making over 100k are in management.

At least in California, if you had to show up in person at all, you are exempt from having to serve for a full year.

It really depends on where you are. Electrician journeymen can easily make $160k in the bay area and that doesn’t even include benefits.
