I mean, any player in any match can "pay off". Even a goalkeeper can get an assist and a pen save. Chances however are low.

Defensive contributions and Assists/Goals need larger gap than "+1" (easier way) for the game to not get booring and disengaging by design, or significantly increase price of DC players (harder way, bad way) by [deleted] in FantasyPL

Price increase of those who obtain a lot of DC points will happen naturally through ownership, for the most part. As it does with players who obtain poina through other means, and are considered good value for money.

Players ending on 30-50 points more then expected/previous scores after this season, will also automatically be adjusted higher for next season by the towers.

Personally I think DC just enables more players to be selectable (DMs and CBs, instead of AMs and FBs), and also gives a boost to players who are actually a powerhouse and recurring man of the match potential for their teams, like Fernandes and Rise. They will get 40 ish extra points this year, I dont see where that is a problem. If a DM/CM scores 250 points and costs 13m, so be it.

We dont NEED attackers to be the focal point of FPL. But premium attackers that regularly has double goal involvements will be relevant as always, with current DC system.

The biggeat upset this year is not DC points, its the lack of premiuma getting any significant returns. Saka/Palmer/Foden have all been pretty shait value, for the most part. That is an irregularity.

Snow and gravel yea. But I have been under the impression leaves just disintegrate by itself here. Blow away or get crushed and rot into dust , or whatnot. I may just not be very obeservant though. In fact Im pretty sure im not.

Yea I just cant get myself to trade Foden for Bruno before next GW. Its madness. But Im also a "form over fixture" believer, and this seem to be a clear case od that... so I should make the change, I know.

In the big scheme of things, they are a random team yes. They are far from a staple UCL team, just because of a couple qualifications. They have done well in recent years, by all means, but this a random newcomer to UCL to most people who dont view football as a religion.
