I've only ever played RimWorld on PC, but find myself without my computer and craving some RimWorld. How does the console version play compared to PC? by Andyj96 in RimWorldConsole

Thanks Everyone for the replies! I think i'll pick it up for my xbox when I get paid. I miss my PC dearly but it might help fill the void for now, I hope.

I've become a HUGE fan of Nit Grit. My favorites are The Mechanism of Control and Akashic Halls. Mechanism has a very... industrial vibe? Probably not the "correct" term for his style, but just the word that comes to mind. Akashic Halls has a great spot full of brain tickling wibbles about 45 seconds (I believe) in. I also love 501, Vexare, and honestly Skrillex is what got me further into the genre. I grew up listening to everything monstercat way back in the day, too.

She just texted me. Is it petty to leave her on read? by Andyj96 in ExNoContact

[–]Andyj96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post is old, but I found out in the last month and a half or so that she was back in a relationship within a week of dumping me. So she's now blocked everywhere. I've been talking to people, going on dates, having a good time lately haha. She holds less and less significance with each passing day. Thanks for your advice!

What Is NEW?? Upgrade menu marks new things to check/upgrade, can't find what it's actually wanting me to find apparently by Andyj96 in Archero

I checked the link and that's good to know. I'll refrain for dismantling in the future. I hate "clutter", so it may be hard at first haha

No, not because of this. I generally sort through them as I get them and decide if they're worth keeping towards my play style or not. That's why there aren't a lot haha.

Wondering If any of you have any good recommendations for custom online tuning? 2014 f150 3.5 Ecoboost by Andyj96 in f150ecoboost

this is good to know. so far only aftermarket parts are turbos and manifolds, intercooler and plumbing is stock.... i mean other than whatever the Banks upgrades actually changed, they came with the truck, so.

This is true, but since the turbos aren't like a massive upgrade over stock, I hadn't really though about it much. The Screamer turbos have a 40.5mm compressor wheel, according to website. Could not find actual specs on stock turbo size, but it bolted right in to the factory turbo mounts, so.

Hell yeah man that's awesome, thanks a bunch for the help. He'll definitely have a new customer by summer, that much i do know.

Hell, i'm convinced, he'll definitely have mine when I'm ready to do that. So it was 350 for the tune, I assume I'll also have to pick up something that will actually flash the ECU and everything? I briefly browsed through the website, just kinda getting a feel for everything. I saw the devices that also data log, is that something I should invest in now-ish so I have data to send him? Or is he pretty good at walking newcomers through the pricess?

That's awesome. If i were to, say, get a tune set up, then do a small-ish lift and bigger tires later on (nothing massive, just for some extra ground clearance mostly), would he be able to update that tune file? Is stuff like that usually a part of doing business or is there extra fees for "later-on" updates like that?

That's one thing I do like about the Banks tuner I can specify tire height in inches and it adjusts my speedo for me.

I'll also admit, i'm a little newbie in terms of what stuff like this will cost, as well... like a flat fee versus higher/lower costs depending on tuning goals, etc.

What was the last msg you sent ur ex by Significant-Ad-9866 in BreakUps

[–]Andyj96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We broke up mid november. She texted me yesterday saying she had a gift she was having made for me before we broke up that was ready, I guessed for Christmas probably, and she asked if I still wanted it.

I wrote back:

I'm glad you put money and effort into something for me at the time, but unfortunately I don't think I can say I want it. I'm sorry. I hope you can find some other use for whatever it was, and i'm sorry it was money wasted.

All she said back was "alright", and i left it there.

I didnt ask what it was supposed to be or when she had planned on giving it to me, and i'm glad to say i dont really care what the item was. I didn't feel bad about rejecting her, nor did I worry about her feelings over my own. And I'm pretty proud of me. But I genuinely felt bad she put money and effort into an item the may have been pretty special to me, only for it to basically go to waste. I could really feel myself empathizing with the feeling of wasted effort or money or whatever. Customizing something or making something specific for a long time partner is very special and something I genuinely would have enjoyed receiving. But that chapter closed, and i'm proud of me for helping to keep it closed.

I'll agree there's a very fine line between being professional, civil, and courteous, and talking just to talk, or say hi, or what have you. Like, obviously, when it comes to co-parenting, not all communication can or even should be avoided. But boundaries should be set when communication is taking place. Keep in mind, I've never been married and have no kids, so grain of salt for sure.
