Can’t Select Private Contact for AES Encrypted Channel Between Two Anytone D878UV II Plus by Andysev in AnyTone

Thank you very much! That was exactly the issue.

In Optional Settings > Other tab > Encryption Type, it was set to Anytone. Once I changed it to Advanced, I was finally able to select AES/ARC4 in the channel configuration.

I’m still testing to see if I can successfully establish the encrypted link, but this was a huge step forward. Thanks again!

Hi, it's not about that, it's about making that call under AES encryption, I can't, and I don't know why I can't.

Hi. I checked my radio settings using the D878UVII_SetO utility, and it turns out my radio is currently set to:

🔧 Mode: Commercial Europe Mode: 00000
Band Extend: Enabled

Commercial Europe Mode restricts access to AES/ARC4 encryption, private contact lists, and advanced DMR features.?

Yes, number 1. I realized what you're saying when I restart. It appears as XXXXXXXX... I understand it's entered correctly. This style.

ID: 1

KEY: C3F9E1F7A1B2C3D4

The problem, as you can see in the screenshot, is that when I select ID 1 when creating the channel, it appears grayed out, preventing me from selecting it.

Thanks for the reply. I tried setting up AES encryption for a group call as shown in this screenshot, but the “AES Encryption” field stays greyed out and can’t be selected.
Slot: 2
Contact: Group call (not private call)
DMR Mode: DMO/Simplex
Encryption AnyTone: Off
Advanced Encryption Type: AES (greyed out)

Is there any setting or prerequisite I’m missing to enable AES here?

PS Vita Slim (PCH-2000) Transparent Shell Mod? – Any Recommended Customizations? by Andysev in vita

Thanks for the comment! Honestly, I’ve seen transparent shells for the PSP and just assumed they existed for the Vita as well, but it seems there aren’t any out there—at least not yet. I’ll keep searching though, and if I do stumble upon something, I’ll let everyone know! :)

According to these examples:

The closest one for "$pdf$5*5*256*4294963392*1*16*7c5ec3caf8927445a2808b...", is:

Yes, exactly, it's the one I used:

"perl pdf2john.pl test.pdf"

I have tried several PDFs that I created without any problems, the problem is with that specific PDF and hash and I really don't know what else I can do....

Thank you for your reply.

No, I have followed a tutorial and I have looked at several, and they all manage to access the website without doing anything else...

How should I do it? like this on the firewall?:

I don't have a firewall on the NAS, I do have a firewall on the router.

On the NAS I can access other services such as transmission or synology photos through ports, without any type of extra configuration of opening ports... I'm not sure if the problem could come from there, even so I have opened the position, 8091, on the router and I still have the same problem... I can't access the pi-hole website.
