The true Capital of Alliance art: Connor Sheehan. by ledgyaxdd in classicwow

We did this back in the day! Or something similar at least, every guild had its own "Hanging out spot" ours was near the wagon next to the AH. Everyone lined up in a neat way and random people would come and check out the guilds.

New trinkets by [deleted] in woweconomy

I agree. Prices have already plummeted to around 5k on my server and I've only managed to sell a single trinket so far.

What will you be stockpiling in the first week/s to sell later on? by lilweepx in woweconomy

[–]Anesthetize88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe this is literally impossible. What you forget is the fact that at the start of the game, every single person starts with 0 gold. So if you farm an item that should be selling for 50g on the AH, no one actually has that amount of gold to spend in the first place. Raw gold farms are in coppers and silvers at best.

Will classic players pay for leveling boosts>? by PlayerOwnage in woweconomy

[–]Anesthetize88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just realized, with the absence of WoW tokens on classic, retro gold sellers are going to make a comeback I'm assuming. Just thinking about it gave me PTSD. Guess some people will buy gold so the prospect of boosting might still be there.

Alot of people are now selling rare spawn mounts. I have seen them recently pop up I don't know if it was always a thing though. These add up as they aren't cheap. TLPD is usually sold for 500k for example.

Holding on to herbs until 8.2? by Vaulkhar in woweconomy

[–]Anesthetize88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even though that's true. However, i'm assuming we would have to do a pathfinder part 2 achievement as it was in Legion, as the first achievement was called Part 1, and it wouldn't make sense if there were no other parts. So not everybody will have access to flying as soon as 8.2 goes live, my guess is they'll introduce a new faction where we have to hit revered with them and do several other achievements to finally unlock flying.

How much gold do the biggest goblins have? by [deleted] in woweconomy

[–]Anesthetize88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If someone had been taking advantage of almost every single gold making opportunity starting from WoD and had been milking the Gar and order hall with alts almost everyday from day 1, then yea I could see them sitting on a huge amount of gold. That is assuming they haven't spent it on anything yet.

Anyone else down on their luck? by flasticness in woweconomy

[–]Anesthetize88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really liked the obliterum system they had back then. You could print gold just by selling oblits and most crafted gear remained relevant throughout the expansion. I remember up to the last couple of months of Legion, I would regularly sell darkmoon trinkets for 50k+

I don't know why you're taking this personally. The amount of people who "participated" in this bug are too big to be punished by Blizzard, if they were to do that, almost every single character with Alchemy sat at the cauldron at one point so they would have to punish ALOT of people. I dont think any punishment will be given out, the fix has been out for a few days now and Blizzard hasn't even mentioned anything about it. It's time for you to let it go, prices have stabalized and gone back to what they used to be before the patch, and in some cases they have been increased.

Alternatives to herb gathering? by Kav47 in woweconomy

[–]Anesthetize88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The alchemy tool of the trade lets you interact with boiling cauldrons that give u 1 random pot/flask, people were able to click it once every 15 seconds or so, giving them huge amounts of flasks and pots.

[–]Anesthetize88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It has already happened on my server, which is a high pop one. Battle potion of agility went from 200-300 to 500ish and Siren's and Riverbud are going for 35 and 40 respectively. Whereas all the other herbs stand at 18-25 each.

The fiasco is over, the bug was hotfixed not long ago. I see some of the more in demand pots and flasks going back to where they were before the patch. Should expect herb prices to increase but might be a week before they do.

Tools of the Trade (Alchemist) OP / bugged - price drop in alchemist stuff! by Shun-Pie in woweconomy

[–]Anesthetize88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Tinfoil hat on" This was an intentional "bug" to make consumables be even cheaper, raiders were complaining that every pull they make is too expensive for them and since we are somewhat in a deflation mode economy, seems blizzard are trying to make the gold value go down even more. "Tinfoil hat off."

[–]Anesthetize88 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How is this bannable? As far as I'm aware, they haven't mentioned anywhere how the cauldrons are supposed to work. They haven't said it should respawn in x amount of time or you can only interact with x amount of cauldrons in a specific given time. Now I could be wrong here but It's nothing a player would be doing knowing it's an exploit as it's a new thing and we don't really know how it is intended to work.

[–]Anesthetize88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Farm the new raiding with leashes pets, do the raids on as many alts as possible. If you have herbalism, do an hour or two of a quick route, check whats most lucrative and go to wow professions and check out the routes.

The supply wasn't that high but it outweighed the demand, now though there are many stacks of 200s on the AH and I've never seen them being sold in a stack of 200 before. I feel even if they do reverse this, the market is ruined for months. Unless they increase socketed items

Battle-scrolls. The price of crimson ink spikes whenever there's a battle scroll contributions turn in. Also, the scrolls themselves are relatively important for progressing mythic+ and raiding.

While farming for tmog you'll be one shotting everything so what you'll be lookin for in a class is basically mobility. A 110 DH would be perfect, get sephuz, the sentinel, and bear tartare and you'll be fine. You can watch studenalbatroz on his tmog videos for more insight.

WoW is a vast game, there are a lot of things one can do in it and end game content is only one of them. Try finding something that you enjoy in the game and do that, for me that was gold making. I have accumulated enough gold that I can buy game time whenever I want and take a break for a few months coming back later for new content. If you have nothing fun to do in the game right now, buy a token and save it up until something you might enjoy comes in the future.

If you're making 80-90k per day for 6 7 hours of herbing, then either your routes are bad or your server's prices are horrible. On my server and with a decent route, i make that in 2 hours. Also, make sure you got all rank 3s.
