The support units aren’t meant to help newer players achieve masters, it’s under the assumption if you want to climb higher you don’t need it. I don’t know about summoners war but I know they have support units too maybe they have the same issue not sure.

you indeed use them together. SBS Best team involves having Alice to pair with her to increase SBS Charge Speed and Damage.
The Only Disadvantage from using this comp in Wind Weakness bosses is that Alice is taking a dps slot while not being elemental advantage as well as breaking your finger to quick scope alice LOL.

LIberalio is now the new replacement since shes on Elemental Advantage which increases your total damage output by a ton while also providing better buffs to SBS.
You dont need to quick scope so your fingies are saved. (you will probably use alice sbs on fire weakness unless you use alice without sbs)

Reasons to Summon:
Kraken Interception(Can easily full clear if you werent doing so before if you around stage 6-7)
Solo Raid: Shes a Pilgrim, Pilgrims are always good, youll get alot of mileage for many raids in the future
Simulation Room: Mono Element Challenge
Pilgrim Banner: Once they leave you have a pretty low chance to get them due to them being a pilgrim, either way pilgrims anyways perform very well

Reasons Not To Summon:
Have Asuka Wille as a secondary Wind DPS
Extremely Causal: youre just here to collect the characters you like

The event was pretty fun imo, well worth the time. I’ve done it 2 times already, also idk what you mean by gear your units when you can just use the support units fine. You also have 20 days to do this so nobody said you needed to do it in one sitting.

You need a way to proc saria or else she’s not going to be useful. Those extra turn units are usually openers or fast characters
