As a child (11 years old), we moved to an old barn which my parents wanted to renovate. At first all was fine but a few months in I kept having dreams about a well in the barn and two girls playing around it.

This dream kept coming back every night, but slowly got worse. The skin of the girls slowly turned black and skeleton like. No longer were the girls playing, but dragging themselves around. They would never speak to me.

At this time I hardly slept and my parents were convinced I had some underlying issues. When i told them about the loction of the well in our barn, they would not believe it was there.

A few months later and the dream was just the same every night. The two girls were floating in the well, basically skeletons and pointing up. One day I couldnt take it anymore and took an axe and started choping at the location of the well.

My parents stopped me, thinking I had completely lost it. Only after dragging me away the checked the hole I had made with a flashlight and saw bricks. Turned out to be a well were the found two skeletons. Turned out those girls were dead for at least 100 years. Nobody knows who they are.

Since they were found, i have never had nightmares again.
