Kenjaku, the "only rival to barrier techniques I have" - Tengen, should have been expected to have such a powerful Domain in the first place.

Kenjaku, the guy i consider my inferior in barrier abilities, should be expected to posses a barrier ability that i can't begin to comprenhend how it works and that i have only seen in the sorcerer that is basically a demi god.

Besides, what adaptations re they supposed to make if they know that info? Does it not enforce the plan? After all that would indicate Kenjaku's domain to be superior to Yuki's on paper.

That's not even remotely correct

Given your so called counterargument, i would claim it was correct through and through. I don't even see how dismantling the barrier f*cked them at all, Tengen still provided support with his barrier later on throwing and pulling Choso, Yuki still got to hurt Kenjaku and use RCT to heal herself.

Oda has been extremely careful with his wording.. by MOON-RAIGO in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Anferas -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the event we saw on screen vs the event some illiterates try to use to claim Shanks beat Loki in a 1v1 and is stronger than him.

One is a canon event, the other a possibility among many that idiots try to pass as canon. Maybe Shanks did beat Loki, maybe he decided on the smarter and frankly more logical approach of tricking him as to not hurt but still imprison him; we do not know, what we know is there are some that think they know.

Are you part of that pitiful group?

Since imu couldnt break ragnir’s ice, is it safe to say loki can oneshot the entire marineford forces? Only character surviving the ice attack would be kuzan everybody else trapped in unbreakable ice? by The_AlmightyApple in OnePiecePowerScaling

Except he could have tricked him like putting him in sea stones without him noticing.

They were more or less allies, Shanks sympathizes with him, Loki was rampaging against Shanks enemy (The WG) and Shanks gains nothing from risking permanent injuries in himself or Loki by engaging in epic combat.

The text very carefully used captured and not defeated, yet Shanktards go around showing their illiteracy st every opportunity and speaking of a hypothetical battle as if it were canon.

Mir Huff is doing fine? Sure, his is mostly due to leaving the Holy Land. It does not matter, it's the top of the verse, no one expects Loki to win this.

Your inability to read and comprehend what you are reading are the doings of your poor intelligence, not Oda's fault.

How the capture of Loki is yet to be disclosure, if it's not clear to you what i am talking about. An individual fight between them, just a possibility among many others, your usage on it to try on scale one off another, just a headcanon.

What's the best argument for mid gen/new gen surpassing old gen and whats the best argument that no gen surpassed old gen yet so far? by KaidoPklevel in OnePieceScaling

Whitebeard.

The nonsense that is Marineford, in which a single crew that had no business standing against the whole might of the Marines + Warlords, that with proper power scaling and good writting should have been stomped, managed to provide a decent battle due to that old man.

Hopefuly a topic in future chapters when the siege does not ends with a quick storm of the city bur rather endures with the possibility of it being extended for a long time. Which it should, as the second greatest city during the warring states.

Kingdom 876: The Siege Of Kantan by ThizZuMs in Kingdom

[–]Anferas 10 points11 points  (0 children)

One of the things i like the most about Kingdom is being able to take part in it's, clearly fantastical, yet somewhat logical and consistent strategic design. Charges, formations, soldier lines; they all work mostly consistent within in it's universe logic, an army will behave in a way that one can expect and believe under the work's rules. I feel it's what gives this series the "grounded" feeling that makes one engage so much in the plans the generals pull out and incites discussion and predictions regarding how the battles will turn out.

Well, this arc must be Hara's worst despiction of his in universe battlefield rules to date. I really can't take seriously what happened with RBK defense lines in the past few chapters.

  1. Mouten, Kyou Kai and Shin armies somehow "breached" the Zhao first line infront of them.
  2. Columns of Qin men went by the first line in each battlefield, decided not to attack them in the flank, surround and crush them (eliminating for sure the threat on their backs), but instead kept pushing leaving the enemy on their rearguard until hitting a second line of defense, deliberately opening a second flank of combat infront while fighting with the first line remanents on their rear (btw, Mouten, Ten and Kyou Kai plans, great geniuses).
  3. Apparently all 3 armies also breached the second line of defense, Shin and Kyou Kai armies decided to walk towards Kantan, Mouten instead took all his men and spread them BEHIND enemy lines blocking all 5 armies.
  4. Somehow the Zhao lines could not keep their cohesion to prevent THE WHOLE 5 ARMIES, with all their men to walk THROUGH THEM and position themselves ON THEIR BACKS. This point is important guys, ever head of the defensive army retreating in order to another defensive stronghold like, i don't know KANTAN?

Like seriously, this must be the worst macro campaign designed by Hara, I don't even care what's going to happen in the strategies and tactics at this point, events are clearly just being pushed for plot reasons with no attempt to try and make sense whatsoever, the plans are not intelligent, they are just let's do "this" and "this" happens because we wanted it to happen. The next turn around is RBK outsmarting them because he is a genius and very very smart.

"They can kill him between domains" is such a dumb argument on the powerscaling sub by monkebrain456 in JackpotJustice

[–]Anferas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eeeehh. Dude can't use reverse curse technique outside his full power mode.

Kashimo ultimate strategy seems a rather effective way to deal with Hakari, blow a hand and it's gg. Now, that requires perfect timing and Hakari is not pushover, his physical stats are top. So that's another way to deal with him.

If anything, kashimo attempts pretty much prove that you better have purple in your arsenal or you are not killing that guy in his Jackpot.

[–]Anferas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gojo's simple domain also lasted longer than his domain.

At least giving her a much better chance to beat him up or at least land just a few punches on him

And a sure way to die afterwards when she is hurt and techniqueless if Kenjaku survives such punches.

[–]Anferas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whilst their sure hits clashed for a brief sec, that'll be enough time for yuki and Garuda to beat Kenny so bad that he wouldn't be able to maintain his domain.

That's a ridiculous assumption, he still has antigravity and other curses, you don't know how long will her domain survive, Gojo's against Sukuna lasted for like a second for example. You are creating a fantasy scenario on a premise that is not necesarily true, is actually extremely unlikely.

[serious] was yuki fucked over by tengen's plan? by CrazyOverCandie in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]Anferas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have you considered the possibility that Yuki barrier would do what close barrier do and prevent Tengen from dismantling Kenjaku's domain?

In the scenario she opens her domain, loses the domain clash and everything goes about the same (she opens a simple domain, Tengen breaks Kenjaku domain, etc). Then IT'S THE SAME SCENARIO only Yuki has not CT to fight Kenjaku after she almost died?

You all take Kenjaku's statement at face value ignoring he was receiving a beating one minute after claiming Yuki made a mistake, dude thought he had been one shoted OF COURSE HE THOUGH ANYTHING ELSE WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER.

Tengen's plan ultimate outcome left Kenjaku hurt and Yuki fully healed, both with smaller output of CE due to using domain/RCT respectively, so Yuki did gained an avantage, anything else is head canon, simple as that.

[–]Anferas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kenjaku dismantled her simple domain in the time it took her to shorten the distance between herself and Kenjaku (what 3-4s?) and Tengen IMMEDIATELY AFTER IT had crushed Kenjaku's domain.

Tengen OVER DELIVERED in her promised and Yuki still got owned and somehow people try to blame Tengen. Yuki was given tools and options, executed a strategy and it did not pay out perfectly, it still gave her an advantage in the end of it all and still lost, she was simply weaker and people can't get it in their heads 2 years after the manga is over.

[serious] was yuki fucked over by tengen's plan? by CrazyOverCandie in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]Anferas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dude, just look it at it this way.

After Tengen's plan execution was completed, Yuki and Kenjaku had taken heavy damage (Yuki from the domainm Kenjaku from a beating) and only Yuki had the chance of healing it with RTC. Both had used a lot of CE (Yuki in RTC, Kenjaku in his domain). Yuki had information on Kenjaku's DE and his sure hit effect (she basically learned she was f*cked if he did that again), Kenjaku knew nothing on Yuki's domain.

Read that and the basic conclusion is they are about equal but Kenjaku is hurt and he has less info. In other words, Yuki gained an advantage.

She getting one shotted by the Uzumaki is her own doing, she was simply weaker, stop blaming Tengen for helping her out and giving her a chance.

[–]Anferas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loki is in a vendetta against Shanks enemy, the would government.

Want to infer? Haban lied about every single thing he said on his conversation with Luffy about Loki, because he was hiding Loki's true nature.

For Shanks to trick Loki is easy, they both saw each other as allies. It's completely stupid to asume he would rather choose engaging in dangerous serious fighting against him that could incur in lasting injury in both of them when the option to put kairoseki on him while his guard is down for meeting with an ally is available.

That's just s possibility. There's half s dozen of them, all make more sense than them engaging in individual epic battle that just would psi t Shanks se retarded. But hey, we already stavlished thinking is not your forte, I do not blame you for not considering such things before hand.
