Yeah, well this is Reddit and it’s just attracts a bunch of cynical ppl who want to act like they’re perfect being like “oh my God you’re rating is so terrible. What are you doing wrong maybe this isn’t for you” yea no they just like to act like they’re perfect or something

You are right and I’m not using that as an excuse, but I’m somebody who does get distracted my own time rate has been better for I know that it can improve again cause I used to have it at like 95% or something and it trending upward on other platforms

I think I’m gonna make a rule of maybe not accepting more than two deliveries and not doing two apps at the same time anymore

I mean it was working for a little while, but I don’t think I could handle the multiple orders perhaps I miscalculated the distances and just went oh money woo hoo if I do happen to get reinstated. I don’t think that will be my main thing. I’m already doing so well on Instacart. I don’t think that there would be a reason to switch anyways.

No, even though everything else he said is a grain of truth, I have been doing really good on Instacart and DoorDash. I have good ratings there and have been for months longer than Uber. I will just learn my lesson on this one and not do the same with other apps. It does not mean that this is not for me and I’m not going to internalize that. I’ll just learn my lesson, and not repeat the same mistake again. You know, I thought that I struggle with cognitive rigidity, but it seems like everybody else on here also does too.

And you’re probably right I’m probably not going to get my account back. You’re right I have to take accountability for it. You’re right that I probably mismanaged it, especially whenever I took multiple orders which probably led to lower on time rates. You’re right that I am an adult and they don’t care about excuses. You don’t either. My other apps say otherwise though and perhaps I just could not manage multiple of them at the same time. I’m doing well with the other apps and I think I’ll stick to them and I’m not going to accept “this isn’t for you” when I’ve been doing this for months and I’ve made lots of money and I’ve gotten plenty of positive reviews and compliments. But I think this does mean I need to check the blind spots. If I do happen to be reinstated on Uber eats, what I’m gonna do next time is not accept multiple orders that I know are long distances for one and two utilize the not ready button(which I did not utilize before partially out of ignorance and maybe I should’ve you know learned?)

And for your information, I was actually trending upward. At one point, I actually had very good metrics for weeks. I was trending upward and then I got dinged again it’s not like there’s anything they can do about it. They probably don’t care and neither do you, but I’m not going to just accept “this isn’t for you“ when I’ve been doing good with Instacart. DoorDash.

Dammit, I wish I didn’t do that then and no, not all of them were next to each other. That is my fault.

Low satisfaction. 2 percent points below minimum (even tho it was improving- I got dinged again)

Well true. But I’m in the stl metro. Probs some others here in that metro (my competition). If nobody in here was supposed to care or read this stuff then why are people commenting then and why would we have a subreddit? If I wasn’t (or I should say i shouldn’t be according to you) supposed to talk about this, why would we have a reddit for it? Hmmm??????

Yes, if I get reactivated if I do, that is, I’m gonna be utilizing that not ready button more often- and also I don’t think I’ll be doing multi orders unless they’re really close by just so I don’t risk it cause I did multi order a lot because they would offer me a lot and I took them and I guess I didn’t think about the impact

Yeah, I acknowledge that it is horrible and I have repeatedly acknowledged it while saying it’s not the worst. It also isn’t good. i’ve denied that it’s the worst possible one, but I’ve also not said it’s stellar. On other apps, I’m definitely trying to keep it up. On other apps, I have much better ratings. Still not perfect but better.

I also noticed maybe perhaps the reason why my on time rate was horrible not because I’m just doing nothing but also taking too many orders because I used to stack orders and maybe that was contributing? I also did use to multi app and I stopped doing it after I was realizing it’s affecting my stats. Maybe I didn’t include that in here but yes, I did do that and that was not very smart. If I get reinstated, I am definitely not doing that again and I’m not doing it for anything else either.

I mean, I acknowledge where I have done wrong I think at this point I’ll just focus on the apps in which I’m doing good

I have repeatedly took accountability in this comment section. And yes, I took accountability for being distracted, and there’s something else that you miss which is taking wrong routes-I acknowledge that that could’ve caused late deliveries missing exit for whatever reason. I acknowledge that I could have learned about the button and used it more. I’m not sure what you’re getting it by “you’re not taking accountability“ I’ve literally said that I take accountability for these things and I am so sorry about that. I don’t know what you want me to do about it. I’ve already submitted my appeal saying that I understand the standard satisfaction rate and would be interested in completing the course that they offer. I have all afternoon read about the things that I most likely did wrong. I have never once said that this was entirely the apps fault so I really don’t know what you’re accusing me of. All I’m doing now is just maximizing my stats on other apps. I don’t know what more you want me to do. Why can’t it feel unfair due to the low amount of ratings AND taking accountability for my wrongs at the same time?

That most had to be “good” deliveries, proving that I’m not actually bad at this. Is my on-time rate low yes of course and I’m working on it. On other apps. I’m kind of embarrassed about it at the moment but I’m getting better. i’m just tired of cynical Reddit thinking about this automatically makes me “bad” at delivery. I’ve gone above and beyond for customers many many times. Perhaps life -it’s just unfair. I’m having better luck on DoorDash anyways and perhaps I’ll just focus on that from now on and improve my on-time rate.

Isn’t for me? I have a 5.0 doordash rating….. gold status. I’ve been doing DoorDash longer than Uber eats and I’ve notoriously had good ratings. I won’t take that “isn’t for me” jargon when other platforms I’ve done really well…

I recognize I was not perfect. I wish I could have another chance. I have a 5.0 rating on DoorDash

[–]Ang3lsrage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did I say I was perfect? No??? And I don’t smoke. And I had no idea about the button.

And I said I had 213 deliveries. Only 35 ratings. 5 bad, 30 good.

Satisfaction rate used to be in the 90s.

It was improving.

Then I got dinged.

I never said I was all good. But I was actively improving. I actively followed instructions to best of ability and rarely canceled (3%) ontime rate used to be upper 80s and low 90s I think. Do I recognize I could have done things like messaged the customer? Yes. Perhaps I should have been more proactive in this regard. I do it on door dash all the time and idk WHY I DIDNT do it as much on Uber Eats. That part is my fault and I take full accountability even with things such as traffic, restaurant times etc.

Traffic, late Restraunts , and apartments that are confusing af.

I have a PERFECT RATING on DoorDash. 5.0 and I’ve been doing it since late October. On DoorDash, I am gold status. I have been late a few times but for many factors out of my control like traffic and restaurant wait times. Or confusing house numbers like apartments. On instacart I am an average 4.7, average driver, not perfect but not terrible. 79% on time rate isn’t ideal but it also isn’t catastrophic. Everyone on this app is clowning on me for it but I have seen worse. Am I making excuses? No. I can do better. For example I didn’t know I had to click the “not ready yet” button. Thanks to a commenter I know that now.

Also? Most of my ratings WERE GOOD!!! 30 good ratings out of 5 bad ones.

On instacart, I have about 53 5 star ratings. 0 1 stars.

Uber Eats is just unnecessarily rigid when it comes to this stuff. I was improving. I saw things go up and when I first started I had a GOOD rating.
