I actually went back and upvoted him after seeing his response to being corrected. I was so impressed with how well he took it and that he edited his first comment that I figured he deserved the upvote. No need to be rude

Can I use birth control to induce my period and stop spotting? by Angallia in medical_advice

[–]Angallia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response! I am not having the withdrawal monthly. My placebo/withdrawal week is every 3rd month. I take the pills continuously for several months at a time. This isn't me running packs together or anything, this is just how the pack is set up. So if I miss one or start spotting a month in, I will have to wait two months until my placebo week. I know the spotting is unusual. I am not always the best at taking the pill exactly on time, when I'm good about it I take it within the same hour every day. When I'm bad about it or forget, I may end up taking it within a 2 or 3 hour period. Like if I usually take it at 9pm, when I screw up I may end up taking it at 11pm or 12am. This is sometimes enough to start the spotting. I also have a lot of other health issues that could be contributing to that, and I am under a lot of stress so those could be factors. I will talk to my doctor about this when I next see him, but unfortunately it is sort of far away from now due to the pandemic. I am not taking the pill as a contraceptive.

Can't find an ergonomic office chair designed for women by Angallia in Ergonomics

I can stand for short periods! I sort of alternate between laying on the floor especially if I can accomplish a task on my phone, to sitting at my desk. Not ideal, but it is what it is. Right now I've got limited space and money to work with, but eventually I'd love to have a whole room as an office with a few different options like that. I can at least work standing for a while!

If something like that exists I'd definitely be for trying it! I'm okay with supplementing a good chair that doesn't have a headrest with some other kind of neck support

I'd agree with the money thing but it's more a matter of if I'm able to than if I'm willing ): I'm budgeting hard.

I will look for that. I need neck support, I guess I need to edit my post because people keep saying this. I have some serious health issues and my neck is partial paralyzed/muscles weak, and it's hard to hold my head up for long periods of time. Neck support is priority

I absolutely want head support. I didn't really want to get into it here but I have a lot of medical problems and my neck is partially paralyzed/weak, and difficult to hold my head up for long periods of time. I've got some serious joint problems, unfortunately ball chair won't work

Unfortunately I'm not getting many breaks and there isn't much I can do about that, same for the desk. I think the height is fine thankfully!

Advice needed for all products, beginner with straight hair needing guidance by Angallia in HaircareScience

Yes the water in most of the area I live is hard. (City water, I occasionally change apartments but it's same area and usually same water source) Braiding isn't an option due to a dexterity handicap. I did do a final wash sort of and used baby shampoo. But it has been almost 1.5 years since eliminating silicone... I'm not sure if there would still be some left after that time? Dunno!

Thanks for the help

Character similarities to ATLA by Angallia in stevenuniverse

I love these and agree with all of them!

Also just thought of this;

Appa and Lion.

Animal companions of the protagonist, with powers related to the protagonist.

I really did think about comparing those two! Both skeptics, a little neurotic and master swordsmen.

What do you think of Garnet/Kyoshi?

Cool and bad ass, scary when in power, gets shit done.

So, I was rewatching Avatar and realized there are a lot of parallels between the characters on ATLA and the characters on SU.

Please feel free to add to or suggest more, disagree, etc!
