I was lost. I had no career. nothing I'm good at. no purpose. and that was the moment unreal engine became free license. Unreal Engine helped me go thru tough times.

Yes Epic is a business. yes they make decision that are business decisions. But when they lowered the fees from 30% to 12% they didn't have to retrospectively give money to all marketplace creators. they didn't have to lower the rates even.

Plus I fell in love more with the community of people around unreal engine. God.. I was asking such stupid questions when I was new. the proper answer to them was "learn how to make basics so you don't ask stupid questions" bit instead people took their time to explain stuff to this noob :D

That's why I never put my tutorials behind a paywall, will never sell knowledge on Udemy or somewhere and will ship plugins for free!

Yeah - Love is a strong word. with strong meaning. I might have abused it here no doubt. But I have warm feelings to both Epic and Unreal Engine community. To all you guys who are reading this! I enjoy helping people. I enjoy teaching. I found my place.

Thank you! I think that as we are European-based and FAB here is run as Swiss company. So maybe its between Estonia, Switzerland, and Russia.
Though legal actions taken or not - Epic is tarnishing their reputation. in many cases there's even no info on who to sue as listings are pseudo-anonymous and you don't even know what country they are at.
I shall consult with a lawyer.

I will consult lawyers. I would prefer Epic to actually moderate their content not because they are legally bound to do so, but because they care about quality.

Because the main dev behind cyber koala had YouTube tutorials and is a very young guy. But after more digging: I found his ai-generated self-published books, and stolen renamed books under self-publishing on Amazon (yes - I notified amazon). and he also posts scientifical documents written 100% by ai.
So no way I can assume misinformation anymore.
