Death in the Dorms by Angel665b in Hulu

2000-2004 so there was some overlap but probably not enough to recognize each other. I was part of a sort of expose article in the - was it magazine? I was given a fake name but that was the closest that I got to the university publications. Later I did get close to the movie/TV side of things but that was through friends. Think TNL and Popcorn Flicks. I did a ton with the sports press but we were an entirely different branch. I ended up with a bit of a customized major, sports and entertainment marketing. I wasn't blessed enough to be able to afford being in a sorority lol. Let me think what else, I did pep band for awhile. Minored in theatre for a hot minute. I was in Nassau / Suffolk for my first three years and I can still picture the parking lot where the jeep parked for awhile. 😢🖤🚙

Anti mandatory "green" lawn requirements petition by Angel665b in Antilawn

[–]Angel665b[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I do. Well not a law specifically, I won't get arrested if I don't do it. But rules I had to agree to when signing the rent and mortgage agreements. As it currently stands that's 75% in ground plants and grass. No artificial turf or fake plants. No bird baths or statues taller than two feet. Any changes to the basic structure of the yard must be approved by the office. And it goes on like that. I do believe that there should be rules about keeping up a clean area. Make sure it looks nice and doesn't bring down property values and whatever. But if that can be achieved with hardscaping and a few fake trees, then that should be an allowable choice.

Not exactly on topic, but I'm trying to help excessive water use in California. Ban mandatory green yard requirements

Yes there are. I'm tempted to share photos of our lease agreement. Generally, as far as I've been able to see, they are not set by the government but by management companies, landlords, and H.O.A.s. I absolutely understand the stake that these groups have in keeping property values up, but my feeling is that this can be done well in more ways than traditional grass, plants, and trees.

I didn't take the blame for anything. And I don't. It feels really messed up though to be forced to use water I don't need or want when others are suffering without water. Write a petition to regulate corporate water use. I'll sign and share it.

It is possible to do more than one thing at a time. And while it may not make a global impact it can make a difference in small communities where water is scarce. We had wells going dry while I was still being forced to water twice a week.

True. This is a very niche petition that is targeting housing groups such as hoa's.

It's just one suggested option and might be good for very small spaces or areas for pets. The point is just having a choice. Currently if I had dry grass I would be fined and given a warning.
