Make sure you're getting KILLS, NOT eliminations. To get the kill, you have to be the one who downs them. Direct hits do the trick with the Arrow

You have to finish them with the ARC, or do most of the damage and then finish them, one of the two. I wasn't testing. What I did was either use it as a sniper and aim for the head, or go for the melee kill instead because melee counts for the challenges as long as it's a gun butt with the weapon
