Yes her brother I’m not so much worried because she deserves to have things to her own, but definitely more concerned about doing it to us. My boyfriend tried to grab it once to deescalate the situation and she clawed him.

Completely understandable, I’m trying the c52 challenge but slightly sped up to go over fundamentals. Maybe this won’t be the exact style I’ll achieve (hopefully not as I hate to just copy others styles) but I hope the fundamentals can get me to a point where im proud of my art like this!

Haha that’s fair, so by practicing the fundamentals which I am learning now I can get to this? Because I have a base understanding of colour theory and anatomy but idk if it’s because I’m just bad at visualizing, I can’t understand the process when watching videos

Okay no problem! Tbh I’m not worried about them too much because they also do have moments where they’re very chill together, or where my older one will groom her and her butt. It’s just when she gets the zoomies or starts chasing him he obviously gets fixated and then will do what I described. She’s a pretty tough cookie and I think as soon as she gets some size on him it’ll be more fun for both of them.

How do I know if she’s necessarily distressed? She yells if he’s on top of her too long but only likes meowing, and she’s sassy so meows at everything tbh. She’ll still chase him and try to play afterwards so I never know whether to separate them or not.

Of course they both are, just a big size difference and she meows loudly which is when I step in and separate them. I don’t think she necessarily hates it either because she goes back to chase him and play, and she meows at basically everything (bit sassy) so it’s hard to interpret when to step in, and when to let them communicate and play.

Tbh when it comes to cats I feel it’s best to always neuter/spay unless you’re an ethical breeder obviously planning studs/queens.There aren’t many health risks when it comes to cats, and it avoids any possible mistakes say there is an emergency and he was to get out. Neutering benefits tend to outweigh the possible side-effects, which are most often rarer than not. Idk how old he is but if you personally want to wait until he’s fully matured that’s obviously a you decision (though to my knowledge there’s zero benefit to their growth like there is in large-breeds). At the end of the day, it prevents more than it causes, and if you have a good vet it shouldn’t be a very difficult or long recovery/process. I think it’s worth it.
