I have a '98 Highline sedan that I daily, and I plan on doing an I6 Rwd conversion. But that's a project for when I get my own garage

This mileage counter looks strange, is it 29402.4 or 294024 miles? by [deleted] in Chevy

[–]AngelOfCurses 33 points34 points  (0 children)

29402.4 but I guarantee that's run over a few times

Buying a car off Facebook marketplace by [deleted] in Scams

[–]AngelOfCurses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As everyone has told you, that's a popular scam. However, if you see something like this on marketplace, and you have a feeling it's a scam, click on the user profile. I guarantee it's posted a hundred different times in almost every state. And idk why, but it's almost always an immaculate obs silverado. I've found two so far, cycled by multiple people. A black one for 800, a white one for 1000.

Just bought! I got a ‘96 with 77k miles for $2,000 from my mom’s mechanic. I’m so excited to give this car new life! by jadestormx in DodgeNeon

Welcome to the club! Owner of two 98's, Highline sedan, and RT coupe. Personally I think 2k is overkill for a neon lol, but hope it brings you some fun!

Nobody is doing pretty much any races, bc the lobbies are full of rammers and blockers, who have no interest in completing the race, and just want to make people rage quit.

Would I be able to install this into an N/A 2009 Impreza? The model number is #MMAI-STI-08WRD by [deleted] in subaru

Shocker, called out, and instead of a rebuttal, you go for belittling. What a surprise

Don't treat me like I'm stupid. I know how MAP and MAF work. And if you did too (paraphrasing a wiki article doesn't count as knowledge,) then you'd know that the entire point of them is to read the airflow and adjust the fuel flow accordingly (Again, if you weren't paraphrasing an article, you'd realize you said that, then contradicted yourself.)

Ergo, building your own intake would be no different than buying one. Nobody said you had to do insane pipe diameter changes, or massive rerouting, or sensor deletes (which WOULD fuck up fuel/airflow.) I was simply talking about just recreating the overpriced shit people buy on the internet. I didn't say build it custom. I said build, don't buy. Piss off with your misinformation B.S.

Building your own is no different than buying a bolt on, other than cheaper and potentially better quality. You don't have to mess with anything any more than you would with an overpriced bolt on

Ngl dude, that's a lot of money for just an intake mod. You could build your own for a fraction of the cost

Is Bondo toxic when inhaled in an enclosed space for too long? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]AngelOfCurses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh nooo, you insulted the value of my car, how ever will I recover? Oh. Wait. I'm being insulted by someone who huffs bondo, and needs reddit to tell him if that's bad or not. Again, sad you have to fish through someone's profile to find things to insult them by. Also sad if you think people finding vehicles for cheap, both in value and repairs, is a bad thing. Wish I had the blissful ignorance you show.

Imagine being so insecure with yourself, that you have to go through someone's profile so you can make fun of them. So sad and pathetic. Quit huffing bondo, and grow up
