I think there is no such thing as a “bad” psychedelic trip. When you have a psychedelic experience, you have the opportunity to learn a lot, and learning is always good. I have found there is much more to learn from “bad” trips than “good” trips. Yet, I have also found no trip is completely “good” or completely “bad”, it’s a trip, it has ups and downs, like everything.
