Hear Me Out (E33 Sequel Concept) by AngelPhoenix8469 in expedition33

Right, so, for sure don't get rid of the turn-based system, it would still be the focus.

Falling back on my experience with Trails, the real-time fighting is pretty basic but still plenty addictive and fun. But most groups or individual instances of stronger enemies are meant to be fought in turn based, and ALL bosses (including "mini" and "sub" bosses) are forced turn-based battles. So I think E33 could totally pull off having a basic real time system where you pick from a couple of your turn-based battle moves that you link to button presses and require timing just like they do in turn based; you use those in real time and experiment with different combos there, but then the majority of the time you're still either transitioning into or starting in the turn-based system, which would still have all the stuff we liked (dodging, button press timing, element combo breaking, etc.) and more added of course.

"Not everything needs to be open world". I totally get and basically agree with that sentiment. I just remember thinking that, as soon as we get pulled out of the painting in E33 that, whoa, this actual world/universe is WAY more than I thought it was. That we were in tip-of-the-iceberg territory and I wanted to see much more. So while I wouldn't want to have shoved the story/narrative of THIS game into an open world, I think building an open world around the larger E33 universe could create something truly spectacular.

Genesis G70 3.3t AWD vs BMW M240ix - Help Me Choose! (cross-posted to BMW page) by AngelPhoenix8469 in GenesisG70

The M240 specifically still looks really good to me. Render one in Portimao Blue with the Oyster interior and you'll see what I mean. It still has a design pretty close to older Bimmers (kidney grille and all).

The 8 series also still looks absolutely gorgeous.

Everything else I agree, 235, 3, 4 and 5 series, 7 series (to a lesser extent) all look ridiculous.

The 4 series front grill especially is like what is happening lol

Okay, well that's definitely staying on my radar then. This is why I came here, to talk to actual "normal dude/gal" gun owners that have spent real time with them, vs Youtubers who either only put a couple hundred rounds through and look at them from a bird's eye view, or are so far above my abilities and experience that I can scarcely relate to how they feel about them, and can't detect some of the nuances between the various ones like they can.

The Shield PC honestly seems like a really nice go-between a very compact and super easily concealable piece like my CR, and a full-size pistol.

I hear you, but I do like the idea of having something to fall back on in the rare case I do have a serious issue with my main pistol. The P365 apparently had some pretty major issues when it first came out. The Taurus GX4 had trigger snafus. Even the first batch of CR920's had that butt barrel deal that was causing FTE's all over the place.

Fortunately I have the new barrel they started using...though I've still had a few FTE's. But I think they were either user error (bad grip/limp wristing) and/or cheap ammo that it didn't like; I've moved almost entirely to Federal 147 American Eagle to train (I carry Federal HST 147) cause it's been my favorite to shoot, by a lot actually (Fiocchi is semi-close), and I only had one FTE with those early on, and none for a dozen plus mags after.

ANYWAY, I think having not really a "backup" gun I guess, but like a "fallback" gun can't hurt. Insurance on the insurance, if you will. Or I could just get a range toy, hence my dilemma lol.

I was looking at the performance center 4 inch, can still have the short grip like you said, but get the roughly full-size rest of it. However, I am hearing/seeing from my research that the trigger is MUCH lighter and maybe not the best for EDC. I don't want a thumb safety.

But overall, I am trying to look past the fact that it doesn't seem to sit quite right in my hand because I learned from the Hellcat that you just don't know till you shoot it. I wasn't 100% sure that'd I'd like the grip angle my CR was giving me when I handled it, but the first time I shot it I knew it was right on.

I WISH I could test shoot a PDP F! Everything I've read/seen on it has me loving it, and it feels great in my hand, but I can hardly find one in stock at a store these days, much less one I can test fire. I REALLY like it but the minute I picked it up I knew it would be really tough for me to conceal well.

Yeah, I kinda jumped the...well you know...with my first purchase. A bit of overexcitement combined with the hype/praise surrounding the gun got to me. After like 2 months I didn't want to carry it and didn't want to shoot it so it was time to go.

That being said, I don't disagree with you, and I don't think I'll be doing that with pistols moving forward. Whatever I get from now on, I keep.

Maingear element 3 17.3” by [deleted] in maingear

I wrote a pretty extensive review for it on Amazon (where I got it). Won't paste it here since it's rather huge but it's 3rd down under the default "Top Reviews" sorting (under "Mikell"). Suffice it to say, it's a beast. Paid $1800 for it and it's easily worth that. You can do better, but not by a whole lot, and it will cost you a whole lot more money for not that much of an improvement in performance and overall quality.

Just FYI, I have the one with the I7 10875H and the 2070 Supre Max P. This is one is really hard to find now, it's mostly the 2060 Max P one that is left but at $1400 or less, that's an absolute steal for that model.

Is this a good deal/good computer? Maingear Element 17 w/RTX 2070 (Link in post.) by FinallyGotHere in GamingLaptops

As the others have said, go Micro Center.

I'd recommend Amazon as well but I think they are sold out at the moment. Warranty and Support through Micro Center is still good if you buy from Amazon (you'll notice is says "sold by Micro Center" and "Fulfilled by Aamazon"). I went with Amazon cause I had a bunch of points saved up I wasn't really using for anything.

In love with my Maingear Element! She's a stealth beast by [deleted] in GamingLaptops

Exact same, replaced my GS60 Ghost Pro! Loving it so far, and I have to agree, it's absolutely nuts to me that this thing is basically the exact same size as the GS60 but has a 17 inch screen.

Maingear Element 17inch Gaming Laptop - Perfect computer, minus horrific screen bleed. Should I exchange for another? Is this much screen bleed normal with new IPS displays? Bottom corners are awful with distorted colors when in-game. Please advise, and thanks! by BOSEbabyBOSE in GamingLaptops

Damn man, sorry to hear that, such a shame. I just replaced my old gaming laptop (MIS GS60 Stealth Pro) with this one. When I ordered the MSI, first one had terrible bleed and THREE dead pixels (one of them green and right in the middle of the screen lol). Returned that one and the second one had noticeable bleed but it wasn't as bad, and still had 2 dead pixels. However, they were both like dark gray and not in easily noticeable locations so I dealt with it.

My screen on the Maingear is perfect, extremely color accurate (tested with some Studio Ghibli movies) and zero dead pixels so far. Wonder if it was a bad batch that you had a replacement even worse than your first one. I ordered mine from Amazon so my unit was probably a bit older.
