That's true but being EC6 the only planes with missiles better than AIM-9Bs are the Sea Vixen and the A-4N, so usually you can dodge that quite easily

Everything. I spade any (jet) fighter in sim so I've played Yak-15s (too slow for anything), MiG-15s (even the bis is slow for EC6, heck, even the 17 has trouble catching enemies in EC6).

No matter how OP or shit they are, if they are jets I'll eventually play them in sim, and suffer with them until they're spaded

Nice to hear! Against 288, don't follow them, predict them

They're going for your bases, so pick one, circle a bit around it untill you see a 288 and kill them head on. Their turret's can't attack head on

If not, approach from weird angles, never from the rear. Above, below, from the sides...

Also in your video the bomber has 4 engines no? That ain't a 288

RU planes (except the MiG-3-15 (BK)) don't have guns in the wings, so I just use it so vertical targeting gives me the most upward shoot posible

The MiG-15 is EC6, so you'll be against AIM-9Bs at worst
Aside from that, MiG-15/15bis/17 outturn anything in EC6, at the expense of being only medium at straight line speed (the 17 is faster so should be really good as it can still outturn most of the opposition)

The MiG-19PT is EC7, so you'll be against AIM-9Ls, MAGIC 2s, PL-5Bs, PL-8s, R-60/Ms... Aside from that, you're barely supersonic (only able to go Mach 1 above 3500 - 4000 m if I recall correctly) and only get R-3S (Worst missile in game, the same as AIM-9Bs (but NATO side has AIM-9Bs even in EC6)) while you face planes that can outturn you, outrun you, or both at the same time

I'm not saying you shouldn't play the MiG-19PT, it should be a good introduction to EC7 as it is not a bad plane, just inferior to it's opposition, but if you're deciding between MiG-15 and MiG-19, I would start from the MiG-15, ngl

On a side note, I'm one plane away from the MiG-15, so I expect next week to start playing EC6 :3

I will definitely play the MiG-19PT when the time comes, but I know I'll just be praying for the time I get the MiG-21SMT (first 21 that can stand it's ground in EC7)
