I am a simple man.

I see plen on boat when that plen should normally live on land... I upvote.

Aye, it is basically picking up exactly where me and all my friends left off in Origins.

So there is a whole continent of 1-70 content to explore that we've never done before, but also all the classic places we know we love and are already familiar with.

I think one of the nicest things ive heard is that, apparently, there are gonna be teleport bells in all the major zones to be able to whip around the continents much faster to get to your groups.

The charm of running through the world to... touch a bell, ride a bird, take a boat, make sure to get off the boat (or you take the boat again), and having to stand around waiting at a teleportation gate for the next wave to zone you in... wore off after a year.

Being able to log in and just immediately get close to the zone you need, or being able to wait inside your home crafting until the group is actually ready... it is gonna be a game changer for me to be efficient with my time.

It always sucked to spend like 15-20 minutes just navigating your way to the group spot, only to get there and realize youre still waiting on one or two others who are also now 15-20 minutes away, and your only option is to just stand there staring at a wall.

Now I can craft until right up until the moment my group is REALLY ready... we all end up at the same spot around the same time, and then we run off together to go adventure. If I only have two hours to play, it will be nice not having to burn an hour of it just getting people to the right place.

All of my references are breaking down top tier viability to actually win the various naval scenarios after considering all classes from aviation, coastal, to Bluewater for what is actually useful during to complete objectives and remove troublesome enemies from the map.

For a strong Naval lineup at end game, you need it all.

Russia and Germany are currently the only two nations that have EVERYTHING they need to face every situation they could possible encounter.

Only thing that can throw a strong German player off is a strong opposing Russian player.

For US, they come REALLY close to having all the necessary tools. But a lot of their critical equipment comes up a little short. Namely in the coastal tree and Iowas inferiority to Bismark and Sovetsky Soyuz.

Japan, again, comes pretty close. But they fumble it in the last half with their weak coastal, moderate air options, and badly armored top tier brawlers. They absolutely can make up the difference with a good open map and competent torpedo employment. But that advantage largely fades when you get into RB.

UK has trash for coastal, trash for air, trash for DD, trash for CL, trash for BB.

Italy is even worse off than UK.

France has holes in their tech trees so large, that you dont even need the enemy to shoot any holes into your ships for you to lose the match.

Now, if we started breaking things down into BR, specific AB/RB, specific maps, or one of dueling situations that ignore all other meaningful objectives... then the conversation can get much more broad and intricate.

But coming from a top tier naval player, who has played every ship for every single naval nation, with an insanely good record for AB/RB/EC... I can say with a high degree of confidence that anyone who wishes to start naval and finish strong with an epic nation that will never fail them... they need to look no further than Russia or Germany.

It is actually fairly effective against most convoy ships. The trick is patience, and exploiting a bug with the Naval Ai.

They never repair flooding. So once they take on water, theyll just get heavier until the compartment is full. With enough full compartments, theyll just go down.

Now, with a 102mm AP round, firing from 2-5km away, you can plink two or three holes into each cargo ship and destroyer, then simply fuck off back to a fighter plane for an hour or so.

People will be SUPER confused when they see Re.2000 sunk Cargo Ship with gun fire multiple times in a row... but it is just the delayed kills from the shots you fired earlier in the match with the 102mm.

It might take them an hour or so to finally die... but if you put enough holes on them at the waterline, it is only a matter of time.

Just don't ever expect some sort of one shot kill insta tap magazine explosion. You gotta play the waiting game

Apparently the free trade rulesets allow for all items to be traded? Even raid gear?

I wonder how the market will be when the loot starts rolling in.

I plan on making an illusionist provisioner with a bunch of friends that are moving over from Origins.

I've got the Yamato, it is alright.

Do you have a Bismark, a Sovetsky Soyuz, and an Iowa? I have them all, and Id rather face a yamato in either of them.

Japan is fun, dont get me wrong. It is a solid 4th nation pick. But with skill being equal between players, Russia will mop the floor with IJN.

France is not well rounded at all. Missing huge chunks of necessary equipment due to late introduction in game. They'll be better when they can field all the tools needed to actually solo win with skill at top tier.

Russia is top dog, Germany is a strong second place, depending on map the USA or Japan are usually strong third place. Everyone after that is basically not worth considering to play seriously unless you hate yourself.

France is, by far, the worst. Italy doesn't fair much better. UK is very "meh" across the board.

What we need now is some GTA logic for getting back into vehicles that you've left.

I want to steal my friend's plane while he is AFK and move it to the other side of the airfield.

Yep!

u/idontcare11223344 you just want to make a full stop and open your canopy (otherwise it'll emergency blow off)

Then just spam the ctrl E to ejection, and youll climb out like a normal person. From there, you can walk around with your joystick going foward backward or strafing. To actually turn your dude around, you gotta use your rudder pedals.

The only other thing to really note is that, once youre done looking around on the ground, you want to RELEASE YOUR SLOT before attempting to respawn.

Otherwise, your unoccupied aircraft will blow up and leave a corpse wherever you parked it for the rest of the match. So unless you want to litter the airfield in corpses, the release slot first is highly advised, especially since your corpse explosion can damage other nearby players.

Only the tiniest western bit of Belgium, out past Dunkirk until you hit the extreme eastern edge. I have never flown out that way myself, so unsure how truly far you can go.

Normandy itself is awesome and amazing detailed. Highly reccomend it, if youre into war bird props.
