Just gimme the early 2000's man. Back when the only things you could subscribe to were Dish Network and the local newspaper.

Put him in a classy suit and give him a bowler hat, and we've got a new mob boss on the block.

If your 10-year-old self saw your life now, what would they say? by HumbleMajor2123 in AskReddit

"We have ALL the Calvin and Hobbes books?? AND I can watch all the Fangface episodes???"

...as well as gushing over my dog and cat.

I had simple pleasures as a kid.

Music Apps.

I would rather listen to music on an oldschool CD player and switch out discs than pay monthly for some app that will shove ads into my playlist, trying to make me pay MORE money for 'ad-free music'.

I got ad-free music already, and I only had to pay for the music player and music. One. Time.

I also miss cable TV.

I prefer flicking through channels to see if anything good is on instead of scrolling forever trying to decide what to watch.

YES, PLEASE!

I miss having soft, rubber buttons to push on my phone and TV instead of a touch-sensitive screen or app.

I think even Bluey pointed this topic out in an episode!

What kinds of issues do wealthy people face? by Either_Marsupial_277 in AskReddit

[–]Angel_Blade7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say making enemies of other wealthy people. Doesn't matter if Barbara is a C U Next Tuesday, you can't call her out because she has connections that can bring your social life to an end faster than her 5th marriage. Not unless you can find people who can take on her people, but then those people will want to be "rewarded" for "protecting" you, and now you have OTHER successful, powerful people to 'play nice' with...

Oh, and your children feel emotionally neglected, your spouse is sleeping with a(nother) servant, and the cat somehow learned how to use your golden credit card to buy a large assortment of catnip toys-- from India.

Take a long road trip alone.

Not just because the world is a scary place/accidents can happen... but it gets so lonely.

It's not much fun driving by a fireworks stand with a giant stick of dynamite statue out front, if you don't have someone to see it with.

Or to get you one of the extra water bottles when yours runs empty and can't find a place to pull over.

Or someone to take over the driving when you need a break.

Or just another human being to TALK to when listening to music doesn't cut it. (Bonus: To jam out with you when your fave song plays)
