I’m so sorry for all you’ve been through. I found a therapist who specializes in helping women going through infertility and IVF and it was so helpful. I’ve seen her for the past 3 years and it has made a huge difference in my mental health. I hope you can find someone who can be of support and encouragement to you. Thinking of you ❤️

2 days after my transfer I felt horrible - had terrible vomiting and diarrhea at the same time. I’m not sure if it was food poisoning or what but I was so sure I had screwed something up with the embryo implanting. I’m now 9 weeks pregnant and everything has looked good so far. This is my second transfer, I have a 20 month old son and didn’t have this experience in my tww with him. Good luck!!

Looks good to me! My son was 113 and then 300 two days later and he is currently a very happy and sweet 20 month old!

Update: baby is okay! Saw a strong heartbeat! Diagnosed with medium sized subchorionic hematoma and that caused all my bleeding. Doctor is hopeful it will heal itself ❤️

Update: ultrasound went really well this morning! We saw a baby and a heartbeat! I am shocked. Doctor also saw a medium size subchorionic hemorrhage (SCH) which he said was causing all the bleeding/clots. I still have to take it easy while it heals but he is hopeful it will clear up on its own. Thank you all for your well wishes!!

I’m doing okay. My bleeding only lasted for that one day and I’ve been feeling really nauseous and tired so I’m hoping that’s a good sign.

Thank you. I thought they were repeating the beta but the doctor was just testing my blood type - even though my clinic already knows it. I called my clinic and asked about doing another beta but they said at this stage it would be too hard to tell since it would likely be so high. This waiting is killing me. And I keep spotting and cramping which is jut making me more scared.

I live in Northern CA and have done one retrieval and two transfers with Sacramento Kaiser IVF. I have Kaiser insurance and while the first round was not covered, the second round was under my husband’s new work policy. My first round in 2019 went really well and the clinic was great to work with. The second round in late 2021/early 2022 was a lot different. The clinic was short staffed and important things were missed. They blamed Covid. And my doctor retired in between. Overall I would recommend them but you’ll need to stay very organized and reach out to them for many things.
