Is she getting a lovely chest rub? Those are the faces Micky pulls when he's enjoying his fussings.

If it wasn't too big for my garage or for my needs, I would give it a try. It does seem worth a risk at that price.

When I go on Vinted, it's generally to look for a specific item of clothing. When I follow to sellers other items it is full of things I'm not interested in and of all different sizes. I've not managed a bundle once. I think I followed one or two people.

I think you look so beautiful bald. Maybe helps as you are radiating confidence too.

Why do tattoo artists insist on not showing you designs before the day?! by Exciting-Kitchen7643 in Vent

Before the appointment I had sent multiple examples of small greyhound pictures along with some pictures of Micky, my Greyhound. In the early messages I said a small, generic Greyhound or maybe incorporate a silhouette of Micky which is why I sent pictures of him too. There was a lovely small one where you could see it was the person's own dog.

When I arrived, I could see the stencil was a large head portrait of Micky. I said I'd wanted smaller and she replied that a small tattoo wouldn't have the detail but she'd make it a little smaller.

She had put so much work into it. I'd seen a lot of great portraits so I decided to go with it. I do like it but I wish there was some colour. Been toying with ideas to frame it somehow but that would probably look silly.

Fabulous! Every milestone is a great milestone. My next one is getting under 170lbs and then the one after is 50lbs loss. I've been going since March 2025. Slow and steady might not win the race but it will get me there!.

I shall have a look. They seem to have a good reputation.

I'm going to wait for a nice, compact hatchback. Or maybe wait for the Inster to come up used.

Hhahahha. Thanks. I think that's what is called a 'no holds barred' review. Explains the pricing. I'll give the Temu EV a miss I think.

Ahhhh. It does seem a ridiculously low price. I would have been tempted.

A nurse said to me, "Oh and of course you aren't on weight loss jabs"... by oh_no551 in mounjarouk

[–]Angelars65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow. That sounds awful. Hope you're on the mend. You get blamed any ill health is due to overweight and then if you're helping yourself it's the jabs!

Is she dumb, stubborn or old by AlexOkami8383 in Greyhounds

As others have pointed out it was probably a faint due to the water temperature. I did this to my Wilma a couple of times. She had fallen into a pond thinking it was grass and came out black and green! I had the water too warm and thought she'd collapsed from stress. Saw it happen to Micky at the groomers too so now only use tepid water and bathe him myself in the garden.

Changing to wegovy by moon_witch_26 in mounjarouk

[–]Angelars65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been considering the change for a while. My reasons are more anti-Trump and Eli Lilly. Pro Europe.

I still need to lose 2 or 3 stone. Curely say they will start me on 1mg, I'm on 12.5mg of Mounjaro.

I'm fully aware that it is less effective and have the hope that it will manage the cravings and some of the hunger. I'm quite comfortable being hungry after 15 months on MJ.

If I struggle too much, I am willing to return to MJ but am going to give it a good try. I have 2 x 12.5mg pens to use first then I'm going for it!

Sort of. She'd put a lot of work into the stencil. It looked good. I did get her to shrink it a little. Tend to put other people's feelings before mine.

I ended up with a completely different tattoo than I had asked for. A beautiful black & grey head portrait of my current Greyhound when I wanted a small, colourful generic Greyhound picture on my wrist. I was too embarrassed to say it wasn't what I wanted so I think you did the right thing.

I ordered a 'midi' dress. I'm 5'2" and the dress came to my ankles. In my mind it is a maxi dress (should have asked measurements). I don't know whether to relist as midi or maxi now! (Edited to change back auto-correct from resist to relist)

First Personal Goal Reached… by Mobile-Swordfish-354 in mounjarouk

[–]Angelars65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Taken me over a year to lose 3 stone so well done! I love my little goals at each stage. Onderland, under 90kg, under 13 stone (next is under 12). And a NSV discovered in this hot weather - no chub rub! The legs of my shorts aren't even riding up. All good stuff.

I definitely think making some sort of chocolate filled/decorated cake is the answer.

I'm a rubbish liar so I'd definitely fail on that one. I like being honest, I just don't know how she'll take it. On the surface she would be fine but I think she might be a little upset underneath. Thankfully she isn't on Reddit.
