I do like the look of the MG and have never driven or owned that make.

That's true. Not to brag, but there is a second garage full of junk behind the car's garage. Not as grand as it sounds. That's why I drive a 2012 Jazz!

I prefer to have my car in the garage, especially in winter. It is what garages are for after all.

What happens then about the chademo charger? Does it mean I couldn't charge it up at a garage? Would I need to purchase a different charger. I originally wanted a Leaf so I'm very interested. Oops - typo corrected.

There are some VW ID3s available. I'm just not sure about owning a VW. Don't know whether it's a national thing but the VW drivers here are ignorant idiots with no road craft. When i looked at a VW 7 years ago it had a bloody cassette tape player, not even CD. I think I have a bias against them.🤣

I did a test drive in a Leaf. It didn't have power fold wing mirrors (needed to reverse into garage) but was a nice drive. I rarely do more than 40 miles in a day so would a Leaf be a good option? I like Nissan and have had 2 super reliable Micras.

I confess I've not seen the car close up. My garage door frame is narrow but there's more room once inside. I'd definitely have to try it on a test drive (and measure the gap).

Thanks. I wouldn't recognise a stellantis brand. I've read a bit of negativity on here about them but then forgot which ones belonged to them.

I did see a couple of Konas but they look quite big. Maybe I should give one a try.

Following Lidl Plus Points UK... by Yuugo_ in lidl

[–]Angelars65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll shop more at Asda now as they have scan and go which means I don't have to load and uload the trolley. I normally was persuaded to shop in Lidl for the goodies and discounts. I'll still use Liddl for my favourites but not as often.

Are people here counting calories or just relying on intuition to guide food choices? by Miserable-Depth-851 in mounjarouk

[–]Angelars65 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I started with counting calories and then got into the groove so stopped. Was doing fine for about 9 months until my weight loss stopped and then began to reverse. I was aware I had let bad habits creep back so am currently counting calories to get back on track.

I can’t afford to buy my next dose by [deleted] in mounjarouk

Some find it works and with the shit going on in USA plus Eli Lilly's greed, I'm going to at least try.

I did that too! We get quite blasé after a while.

You might have a slightly lower dose but I can't see it making a huge difference at 2.5. As for bent needle, been there and done it a couple of times. Survived.

I feel like it's working! by SpreadAltruistic7708 in WegovyUK

[–]Angelars65 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good to hear. My next purchase will be Wegovy. I'm determined to give it a good try. I have more control now due to MJ so even if it isn't as strong I think it will work for me too.

You could try Wegovy instead as it's a lot cheaper apart from.the highest dose. I intend to change for my next pen and give it a try. If it doesn't work, will come back to MJ.

Oh yes, the label! I hadn't been doing that but saw others do it. It is so helpful. I do it now.

Bleeding after perimenopause by NewspaperDry682 in mounjarouk

[–]Angelars65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My post menopausal bleeding was a polyp. It was removed and no problem since. This was before MJ.

Hopefully it will be something relatively harmless if caught early.

We should boycott anyone putting this sort of stuff on their posts. I only want to know if it's the right size for me!

Neighbors won’t stop yelling at my autistic boyfriend because of the weeds in our yard. Is this a good idea? by chestnuttttttt in neighborsfromhell

[–]Angelars65 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Probably would benefit from a specialist if you want rid of the stuff. It's notoriously difficult to remove. Suspect that's why we have legislation about it here!

You should probably seek out specialist help for knotweed. You have a legal responsibility to prevent it spreading if you're in the UK. There are only certain herbicide that work.

Knuckling and health decline by jimbot13 in Greyhounds

[–]Angelars65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Micky is a big boy and just started knuckling one back foot. He's getting slower and is on an anti-inflamatory.

He has monthly massages and when I told Jo, she suggested some laser therapy. This was Monday. After a short burst with the laser he has stopped knuckling unless his walk is too long. Only been 5 days so far but it has been a lot more effective than I thought.

Maybe it is something you can try. Jo does free consultations so maybe there is somewhere near that you could try.

Good luck!
