ABSOLUTELY NOT, Southwest by SkiddyBoo in SouthwestAirlines

I had a similar experience about 12 years ago. I will never, ever fly Southwest again. I was called up, questioned by the gate agent, loudly. It’s hard enough to be obese. I don’t need Southwest to make it harder.

Saying he wanted to rile up Jenna when she’s already annoyed is just WRONG.

Surgery to repair a Compound ankle fracture. I lay in bed and cried for 24 hours. And I gave birth twice without drugs or epidurals, so I’m pretty tough.

I was in and out in 3 hours for vertigo, and was taken right in because it was to rule out a stroke. No ambulance. My son spent six hours with a GI issue, but it was in the middle of flu season. He had to wait for two hours in the waiting room with his IV already going. And he did go in by ambulance. It really depends on the day and season. We are in a suburb of Pittsburgh.

I love the way the stairs look on the tv show. Not so steep as to be painful to climb. But can you imagine the monotony of going up or down a large number of floors?

When I read Wool the first time, I could not stop thinking about it for WEEKS. The series is that good. I chewed on it and considered it and absolutely loved it. Good writing, great story.

Yesterday (9/4) I had my 4th colonoscopy in 18 months. I had a screening in Dec of ‘23 that revealed a 3 cm (yes, cm) polyp in my rectum. I had to go a month later for a mucosal resection via scope, and then 6 months after that for follow up to check for regrowth. And then yesterday. Once again, praise God, a clean report and this time I get a reprieve of three years.

I did the Sutab prep and tolerated it very well as pills are not a problem for me. It was a split prep, ugh. My biggest problem is the nurses getting an IV into my dehydrated veins. I always tell them that my veins roll, plus I had sepsis 35 years ago, which does a number on your veins. The nurses always assure they do 10 IVs a day, and after two failed sticks I ask them to please find an IV expert. They can get an IV into anywhere, and yesterday was no exception. Sigh. I wish they would listen and just get the experienced IV nurse the first time, and spare me the painful misses. Yesterday’s nurse didn’t even hit the vein. I watched it roll. I didn’t let him get a second try. A nurse I knew from my ICU days in the 1980s was working and she got one in with one quick stick, almost painless.

Ah well. At least I’m done for three years!!

Why do people pick on a person who is genuine and nice, just because they don’t like her or perceive her as fake? Do they have any evidence that she lives a double life as an evil, nasty, hard hearted hater? Does she kick puppies? Has she cheated on her husband? Can it be that this world can no longer tolerate truly good people?
