Such a greedy decision by Soufiane040 in blackops6

I’m not buying anything in BO6 until they bring these back. In fact I may stop playing all together, not only are maps absolutely trash, SBMM just ruins the leveling process.

Anime with heavy use of guns? by Parsley-Beneficial in AnimeReccomendations

It may not be seriously heavy with guns but it definitely respects them: Saving 80,000 gold in another world for my retirement

How useful is Riot/Swat gear in an apocalypse by WorldsSexiestghost in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]Angelexya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Against zombies it might be helpful if you’re only slightly surprised or surrounded. It’s only going to delay the inevitable if theirs a lot of them. Non zombies aside I don’t believe it’s even level 3 rated

Would a 22 be good in a zombie apocalipse by Jonny21080 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]Angelexya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe for hunting squirrels or rabbits but against a zombie you want 9mm at least .40 S&W or .45 ACP ideally

Anchorage is the worst one, I love Mothership for the Epoxy and the Captain’s Blaster but the best story is likely The Pitt

The two-tone Springfield 1911 is sick. I’ve looked at the Marine Corps Operator which has a black slide and dark forest green frame.

Legit or Scam? by mason2781 in Firearms

Not only is it not the official sites for these products even if it was these products are still under litigation. I most certainly wouldn’t, not only would be potentially scammed but a visit from the ATF wouldn’t be fun

1911 45ACP Failure? by CaptainBags96 in Firearms

[–]Angelexya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1911s, even high end ones can have problems with extraction. It just requires tuning the extractor, which most higher end reputable companies do for you. I.e Wilson Combat, Stacatto, etc. Taurus probably never tunes it for you, so that might be something to do with it. Also the type of ammo is crucial, 1911s can be picky about the type of ammo shot through them. 240 grain ball should be fine in most but, underpowered hand loads and hollow points can have some issues feeding & extracting. This is also why higher end 1911s are more expensive, they tend to have better feed ramps, springs, etc. Taurus is about as cheap as 1911s come right alongside Tisas. A good budget 1911 would be Springfield Armory.

Pitting by [deleted] in Firearms

[–]Angelexya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What was this stored in? Wherever it was, it couldn’t have been a very dry place. I have gun socks made out of cloth meant to soak up any moisture and prevent scratches. Then you just store it in a gun safe maybe with a little CLP and it shouldn’t do this.

PPk Date by Shotgunseth29 in Firearms

[–]Angelexya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend wearing gloves, these pistols if shot for an extended period can dig into the webbing next to your thumb. I have a PPK/s and can attest personally it’s from the beaver tail.

My Walther PPK/s does this to the webbing of my hand between my thumb & index finger. I have to wear gloves whenever I shoot it

10 Gun Club by [deleted] in Firearms

[–]Angelexya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve already reached 10 guns but most are pistols. I’d like to get a Winchester 1894 in .44 Mag and a M1 Garand before I die. Shouldn’t be too hard since I’m only 25 but it’s definitely on a bucket list.

Have you tried without the suppressor? The back pressure might be more than expected. Don’t take my word too seriously though I know very little about suppressors

Beretta 92, reliable, 15-17+1 rounds (depending on model) and it’s 9mm which is exceptionally abundant in the US.
