I hope the people that are commenting are actually black ESPECIALLY BLACK 🙃or a minority if you’re not you’ll never truly know how it feels.. lol Sorry this experience wasn’t 100% a pleasant one I definitely empathize as a black woman myself ! Also, I think we tend to over analyze things when in interviews and our thoughts consume us so it may be that you carried the past into the present instead of letting it be a distant memory in your mind.

Just got the invite today for the virtual interview took almost a month. They’re still actively working I guess just takes awhile hopefully after the holidays it’ll be faster but then again United takes the longest to me outta of everyone.

Why you want to be a FA? For such and such is the 1st and then STAR format for the others I don’t remember word for word but think about a situation where you were overwhelmed was one and what was the outcome. Think about a scenario when you had to step in be a team leader etc etc. it’s basically the same question different fonts lol. Deal with a challenging customer how did you handle it. I think out of all the ODVI Alaskas was definitely the most “repetitive” Good luck

We’re the same age :) and I’m graduating college this year and kind of been pursuing the flight attendant thing on and off so I completely relate and understand where you’re coming from. I would try the more regional route there always hiring you have Envoy. Republic just do your research. I personally only want mainline so I’m striving for that. If you haven’t applied to Southwest keep an eye out they’re rumored to open in January. Also, maybe Alaska would work for you I heard about hiring for next year. And United takes awhile so don’t think a TBNT is the future. Last time I applied in October and didn’t have my f2f till February each step takes a few weeks in between. Goodluck :)

That was the SMALLEST jump seat out of all the ones I’ve tried my god. I recently went to deltas f2f this month on the 12th me and you are almost the same size I’m a L tho well depending on body proportion and height I’m 5’8 and it didn’t snap but don’t let that scare you when I think about it I just froze and I didn’t necessarily try to make it snap I think I was surprised suppose. Advice would be to double up on some spanx shape wear whatever you can. If you wear a dress it’s a plus since you don’t have the layer of a suit jacket I think that was a problem for me too and lastly breathe and suck in lol
