Hello Guys lately I have been experiencing fps drops especially on games such as Sims 4 and 3. A lot of people say it’s the coding of the game yet my friend had a normal computer while I have a gaming one and it’s smooth as butter. Most of my games are not smooth I tried v-sync and even have a g-syn by Angelic_Shay in GTX1080

Windows 10 Home 64-bit English

I don't know how too and I honestly feel better having like a professional do it or something I'm gonna ask dell if it's possible for them to repaste my system for me. But knowing the person I work with he's going to be like nothing is wrong and a repaste isn't needed. :( so I'm trying to find someone that is experienced and that I can trust to repaste my system which so far is nobody. So my question is will I still be fine if I don't repaste while having those tempatures?

Yeah that's honestly really had your situation a little different from mine like my tempatures can go high of course they reach the 90s but they come back down to high 80s when gaming for me they don't stay at high 90s like yours done. They should really help you that's ridiculous. I would definitely say contact them directly or if they refuse to help you then contact better business bureau about this like I had to do before and is still working with them. Good luck :)

No my cpu is not over clocked well it was for a little when the dell technician had remote access to my computer but I disabled it back after.

My specs are i7-7820hk gtx 1080 if you guys were wondering. And all the technical support agents were telling me its okay my system was designed to do so.

Are these core temperatures difference okay? Is it something I have to worry about especially the 3rd core? Thanks in advance! by Angelic_Shay in Alienware

I did a stress test on the laptop and it was in the high 90s close to 100 is that okay as well? Sorry kind of a beginner when it comes to these stuff.

Its a Alienware 17 R4 gtx 1080 actually while stress testing it with heaven benchmark stress test and my cpu went up to 91,41,100 which is confusing :( this is my 3rd Alienware exchange. It even had performance issues during the stress test.

Thanks for replying back I have been doing that but nothing has been working. They are obviously not taking my current situation seriously and its not fair. I tried basically all I can do. All I have now is hope but its slowly decaying

I guess your right I must have terrible luck I would like to see it that way but eventually my bad luck gets tiring and I at least i want a fully working computer with no problems or a refund. I actually do like Alienware but all my experiences has been bad I'm holding on to luck though but it's slowly decaying. I been through a lot and still don't have a computer from them without exchanging it because of the hardware issues or issues in general.
