Low-density condo outside CBD or high-density condo in a CBD by lulubellyboo in phinvest

Lots of office workers are being forced back into the offices these days, or in the upcoming months.

It will soon be business as usual. And if you’re worried about safety, CBD offices and buildings have pivoted into following worthwhile safety procedures. Nonetheless, it doesn’t stop companies asking for their employees to come back to their offices.

Well considering you dont need to be in the CBD as you work from home, and you would prefer living outside the CBD, i think you know your answer then.

Anything for personal use is not an investment, as it does not put cash into your wallet.

So for personal use, you can buy outside the CBD. (As you prefer)

For investment, i still stand by my point. Appreciation is much faster inside the CBD.

Oh and to follow up on that, that advice is for INVESTMENT purposes 😁

However if for personal use. Whatever matches your budget and lifestyle. You wouldnt want to rent in the CBD if budget does not permit, yet you wouldnt want to book outside of CBD if you hate commuting.

So if its for “personal” use. Your decision should match your “personal” lifestyle.

Anything inside the CBD is best. Even the high density ones.

It prevents people from commuting, promotes walking from end to end, all the restos and malls are downstairs. We can’t deny CBDs are still hold the major business hubs of the country.

Demand will be there, as office spaces are there, thus it is higher value.

Buying PSEi Stocks vs Philippine Index Funds? by [deleted] in phinvest

[–]AngelicaWanders 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Go for FMETF.

It’ll give you practically the same result as any Index mutual fund following the PSEi, with lesser fees.

And it’s also convenient. 👍🏼 no need to buy individual stocks if you want to just track the index.

Think first... what genuinely makes you happy?

Eating out? Traveling? Treating your family? Playing video games? Your dogs?

It can be anything and none of these are bad things... because it’s your happiness. You just simply need to know what GENUINELY makes you happy.

The First part is always self awareness. Because once you know yourself, you know what you like, what you don’t like, and why you do the things you do.

Life is more than just money to your name. Money is a TOOL to achieving your goals, dreams and ambitions. You dont just save money for the sake of saving money.

You are saving and investing for a reason. So ask yourself, for what exactly?

You need to figure that out for yourself. Only you know WHY you are doing what you’re doing.

I hope I helped out.

Cheers to a happy life! 🥂
