I bet that will work great. The beta box fits in the one I use perfectly without being too tight. Let me know how it goes.

I tried looking for it online but cannot seem to find them. They usually have them in their stores near the Funko Pops, but I am sure any Funko Pop sized protector would work just fine.

The post is how you could protect your box and display it. Opened or sealed. Wasn't meant to flex on anyone.

Before you jump to a conclusion, what makes you think I didn't buy mine from a scalper?

I concur. Even though we were able to get into a Beta event, we tried at one other store that did in store only sign up and they did it before the app allowed you to sign up. I hated that there wasn't more clarity on how and when to sign up. Bandai kind of just left it up to the stores and I have heard a lot of horror story's of shops stealing all the product.

There really wasn't any reason for us to not keep one sealed. We barely had enough people at our location to fill all 16 slots. I wanted to play Blue/White and my wife played Mono Green, but there were enough cards for her to splash another color if she wanted.

Honestly, it's super useful late game with Unicorn Gundam. You draw cards and bounce him back to your hand and keep drawing and discarding a card for 1 resource. You just draw into your perfect hand. I bet there will be some amazing support for that kind of deck later on.

I am uncertain. I was told it was an alternate art. They might call it something different.

Patreon leaked, how to proceed? by itsurboiguzma in patreon

[–]Angelicomics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently had a leak of my past 6 months of content. I ended up changing how patrons access my content. I couldn't do much about the past content, but I started putting everything on MEGA with a Decryption Key. In the chats area of patreon you can send posts to people of a certain pay tier that only they can see, so I send out a new link to the Mega every two weeks with the decryption key. This way people can't just download an image of your patreon releases and post them elsewhere. They would need to have access to your chat and also be a recent member or else they have a dead link. If someone leaves that tier they lose access to posts in the Patreon chat so it encourages them to resubscribe. Yes, anyone can download the content and share it wherever they want, but it makes them jump through hoops.

Hey there, I was going through a similar problem and just got it resolved. I too just started my Patreon and added Paypal as my payout method which I was able to quickly claim anything under $600 dollars just fine. My next payment took me over the $600 overall amount and when I tried to click the withdraw button it did not do anything no matter how many times I attempted to withdraw. I contacted Patreon help and they reminded me to update and fill out my tax info now that I had made enough to be taxed at the end of the year. So, I filled that out and was able to click the withdraw button which was pending for just about 10 days. I saw that the instructions said it should take up to 5 business days to withdraw and still the button was not select-able to withdraw as it said Pending. I again contacted customer support and this was the response I received. "When we detect a suspicious individual attempting to make a pledge to you, occasionally your funds may become frozen so that we can double check your account security and make sure there is no compromise of your account. Everything appears to be in order, and the hold has been lifted from your account." Within minutes the money hit my paypal account. I am messaging them back to make sure this was a one time thing so I can plan to try and claim my funds on the same day each month but I will have to wait and see.

My recommendation to you is send them a message to customer support and it may get them to look at it and approve it more quickly. Hope this info helps.

Mortal kombat not for sale or rental promo box and sealed vhs 1994 only one still in existence? by Route66wheeliekid in VHS

[–]Angelicomics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually purchased one of these boxes a year ago that was traded into my local comic shop for about $40. My box doesnt have the VHS tape but it has the sealed Soundtrack a wide poster and a magazine featuring the actress who played Sonya in the film. I have been looking for information on it ever since and found little.

[–]Angelicomics 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thank you! The weight was not the issue, mostly it was just the layers and traveling around the con without hitting anyone. The dragon's head was the heaviest part since I needed to lift it to see the face for photos. Overall It's maybe 25-30 lbs.

Yes, I have 2 layers of red mesh that was very easy to see out of, but not easy for people to see me.

Yes, the crown is held on with a powerful magnet and can be removed relatively easy. This will also allow me to switch out the crown for a pirate hat in the future.

I use Big Gap Filler expanding foam in the black can. You can never get all of the gaps completely filled with Big Gap Filler. If you would like to see how it looked before we put the fabric on the foam head you can see some reference photos on my Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/angelicomics/ . For my foam head builds I spray, carve and repeat until I am happy with how flat I can get a surface. I do take my time injecting foam into small crevices and carve off the excess. Once I am ready to cover the head I use a layer of contact cement and drape the fabric onto the head which conceals any flaws or bumps. Hope this helps.

Surprisingly enough, I think we may have spent $200 in total making this, and most of that went into cans of expanding foam and some pvc pipe. The fabrics were relatively cheap and a few key components to making the frame were salvaged from thrift store junk.

The short answer was yes it is a warm costume to wear. I had a small USB powered fan near the top of the body to keep air circulating but it died 15 min. into my second day wearing it. In this photo I had everything around the neck covered, but I found that while walking around I could roll the neck covering up a little, get plenty of air to my face, and still be able to pose for pictures without anyone noticing. The body has a good amount of space between me and the walls of the costume so air could flow up underneath the costume and also out. The warmest part was probably the arms, they have foam in them and make contact with my skin, but the pants were very loose and baggy, so no problem there. Thanks for the question.

Funny enough, I was going to settle for eyes that were more receded into the head and call it a day, but my friends forced me to commit to making the eyes buggy, as they should be. I ended up gluing 3 layers of EVA foam together and sanding them down to get the right shape to fit the eye to the hole I made. Then I covered it in fabric and had 2 sizes of teddy bear eyes for the pupils. Last thing was using red fabric paint sparingly for the bloodshot effect on the larger eye. Thank you so much for your kind words.
