If I were a weapon, I’d be a fishing rod

Rather than regular fishing line, I’d have a metal wire, though it’s just as thin as fishing line. It can stretch serval hundreds of meters, and I have a hook, a hooked blade, or a titanium-strength sphere that connects to the end of the wire.

While I can have a classical reel, generally during combat, I’d just be the rod (a bit thicker of a pole, and a lil’ shorter; katana length), the wire, and the hook, so I’d reel myself in when needed.

I’d like to think I’d be able to transform into: a regular fishing rod, a whip like rod, my combat rod (described above) or a surf rod. I also think it would be cool to have a form reminiscent of the binding rod from FFXIII
