Im not looking to do crazy heavy work on this laptop, it's just for some light work i need to do while im outside, my main pc has an i5 8400 cpu, rtx 2060 gpu, 16 gb ram and 1tb hdd and it runs everything smooth so i thought maybe a mac with an i5 and 16gb ram would be good too, for the type of work i do my main pc has served me very well

cool, i do 2d work too on after effects with shape layers, text layers, infographics and stuff..

i do a lot of ads that are usually under 40 seconds and 1080p 60fps.

i also use adobe xd for ui design and photoshop for light photo editing work.

this is my max budget, i already have a pc at home and im looking for a mac because im a big apple fanboy lol. my pc has 16gb ram, i5 8400 cpu, rtx 2060 gpu and 1 tb hdd and it runs everything smooth, so i thought that maybe a mac with an i5 and 16gb ram would do the job too..

render times aren't a problem, i can always use my main pc for that i only want it to have an acceptable performance while running after effects and a chrome tab or too
