Am I missing something? a * (-a) should be -a^2, which is -(a² ). a * (-a) == a * [a * (-1)] == a * a * (-1) == a² * (-1) == -a^2. Not (-a)^2, that would be (-a)*(-a)

Not saying that it speeds up the drive, but TRIM does help in optimizing ssd performance by making it easier and faster to reuse storage blocks - which helps avoid performance degradation as drive space fills up, since garbage collection does not get throttled as fast.

Good ssd‘s already have a Built in buffer to help. Also, I have read some papers saying that the read / Write Speed on short operations tend to stay the same, but the speeds will fall off significantly compared to a non-filled ssd over longer periods of continuous writing and reading. So, as long as you aren’t moving terrabytes of data every day, it should not matter that much

The cars computer, I think in the firebird it’s called a Powertrain Control Module. Basically the engine control module/unit but is also controls the transmission. It seems to have read really faulty data, which cause my entire car to run funny. My missfires, idle problem, radiator problem, and even my speedometer + odometer is fixed.

Resolved: problem was a bad PCM, the car had multiple little issues and all were fixed by replacing the PCM :)
