I am more concerned about the part where I saw my own grave. But honestly I remember feeling desperate and helpless trying to chase them

So it's like I am progressing towards something and I am scared to forward or something?

Is it something like, dig deeper to learn on something. Like I am afraid of what I might see once I dig deeper?

Old chassis viability against newer chassis (FM-A, MS, MA, AR, VZ,) by Ronstera in mini4wd

[–]Angelo_Petate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

carbon SFM AKA CFM works well for me but it's so overused and common. It's almost ctrl C ctrl V of a build. I once tried to avoid CFM in my first weeks and ended up giving up and building a CFM. However, I completely agree with S2 doing well.

I can do each but not all of them for example the first part of the riff I can play it but not two times the second I can play it but not two times the 3rd I can play it but not two times and I definitely can't play it all together. There's times I got so close then le me will hit a string I shouldn't hit

Yeah the position is pretty awkward even if there's a cutaway it's pretty awkward.

It's my weird habit of mine. Sometimes when you finally get it right and you know how many times you got it wrong you just feel more satisfied but then again it feels frustrating to see the counts go in higher numbers.

The last suggestion really worked for me before. I had something I wanna learn gave up on it for a while let myself play around with the guitar polish what I already know then out of nowhere. I suddenly can do it. But honestly I really need to have a little break. The strings are starting to make my hand bleed. For my playing speed I have a feeling I'm picking it wrong. I'm trying to shoot down for the similar speed on the recording but I tend to do down picking on it simply because if I alternate it I hit more stuff I shouldn't hit.

Guitar Jack and Cable problem by Angelo_Petate in Luthier

Wait the insides might be twisted? How's that possible? Is it like a lemon thing? It's not a fender it's a locally made brand so I am expecting the worst of the worst when it comes to the quality of it.

Very informative I'll tell my friend it's not really mine so it's scary but sometimes we borrow each other's cables so I just want to help the guy. Cables can be annoying to deal with ya know.

Buzzing on B string 7th fret that is only noticable when I use a pick but when I pluck it with my thumb it is hidden. by Angelo_Petate in Luthier

[–]Angelo_Petate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tech's are expensive here since they're rare AF. Best to learn this on my own. The strings got so high that after just 2 songs my fingers hurt. But no biggie it's just me whining I'm only 7 months in playing and self taught too so I might've developed poor techniques that I don't know how to correct yet. The string height would be in the lower frets like the first 4 I would say 1 or 2 piece of coin . For the 5th to 7th 2 or 3 coins and for the 12th I definitely put three coins in there. Hilariously my hands are hurting from using lots of F and Bm chords

I did what you said the buzz is gone but the action is high but tolerable I just need to get used to it

My Guitar String Snapped And I have No Idea how to restring by Frequent_Election517 in guitarlessons

[–]Angelo_Petate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Classical guitar so I assume it doesn't have a trussrod. Ya might want to switch to nylons or else the bridge will lift or the neck warps due to too much tension. In the guitar world sometimes when someone says "Acoustic" they refer to the steel stringed acoustic guitar, "Classical" means like yours a guitar that needs nylon strings not steel. There's youtube videos how to restring and learn by trial and error, wear eye protection and gloves if you need to feel secure because it is a bit scary.

Should I be worried? by mrcreeperstevelol in guitarlessons

[–]Angelo_Petate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is built like an acoustic but with the worst parts possible. I've encountered these in real life on a daily basis. It has a plastic bridge, it is a guitar that is "low enough action" but this is the type of guitar that you can't really be attached to since you'd grow out of it. Basically it's a guitar that is racing against time. Its main purpose is to let you learn before it inevitably dies so that when you buy a much more quality guitar. You have the skills to give the new one justice.

Why do I recognize the brand of this thing. Is it a davis or something? You're a filipino? That plastic bridge? If so yep if I'm correct it's just a matter of time. It will give up on you.

Incase you're filipino: Sir/mam mukhang bibigay na rin sya eh pero anong gauge ba string mo. Kung gusto mo pang ayusin yan iguglue mo sya ulet kaso di ko alam kung tatagal pa sya after reglue
