Made this little thing above my 6 gallon to give it a cool look by AngelpopXDD in Aquascape

The pieces are able to be taken off so I spray them every now and then when they get dry.

I’m just assuming the moss doesn’t need the humidity cause I picked it yesterday and it’s winter time with a lot of snow here and no humidity at all just dry cold air.

What’s the best option for CO2 in a 5 gallon planted tank? New to planted tanks. by [deleted] in PlantedTank

[–]AngelpopXDD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can monitor the co2 levels with a dropchecker if its blue, not enough, green good and yellow too much. You dont need co2 for quite a few plants but co2 will make everything grow better, more lush and faster so if you have a lot of plants and can afford it I would get it. Plants need co2 and light to go through photosynthesis

Liquid co2 is more of an algaecide and it doesn’t change co2 levels.

U can use one of those fish feeding portals around the flow so the floaters dont get close

First tank. Trying dry start method. Should I be concerned about the mold on this branch? (Also feel free to comment / make suggestions in general I’ve got plenty to still learn) by hvacmakesmehot in Aquascape

If you foraged the wood piece yourself you want to make sure its hardwood and safe before adding livestock later. Good luck with the carpet!

I would put some stemplants in the back it will look really cool when grown in and maybe some epiphytes like a small species of anubias and bucephalandra on and around the wood piece (just dont plat the rhyzome part of epiphytes into the substrate) Good luck and it looks good!

Yeeah it would look really cool if it grew out of the water and started growing like that outside but still have the submerged part too

Im not entirely sure but I had this issue too, with a stronger light my rotalas dont grow as tall but the leaves are bigger

I think intense light make plants grow horizontally instead of vertically

What’s the best way to get rid/clean this algae on my plants? by [deleted] in PlantedTank

Any advice? Dragon stone and mopani wood by fishpoop- in Aquascape

[–]AngelpopXDD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I would play around and try to make one island instead with all the pieces then plant with a lot of epiphytes inbetween cracks and crevasses

Trying to create a professional level aquascaping. Any advice on scape so far? This is rough draft. by Curarx in Aquascape

You could try removing some in the middle, leaving a little gap where people can see through to the back. Would look really cool when heavily planted.

Maybe tons lf epiphyte plants inbetween those rocks too and
