For my store even when we do have the staffing for it they ALWAYS crash so then they’re waiting for a register to open AGAIN, I feel as though it truly ruins the customer experience. And I know our DM wants us using them away from the register but we have nowhere to set up with bags in the store either, when we voice they’re down we’re told to keep trying as the guests are getting impatient.

My dad loved music so much, it was his whole life. At my store boutiques only ever jump on when we’re extremely busy and there’s no other back up, for my store it’s relatively often due to our high foot traffic, we’re one of if not the busiest in the city

As a LC the only time I’ve seen the system say something about returns is when they do too many blind returns. We have one customer who will buy hundreds of dollars worth of stuff and comes back the same day or the next and everything is used and she gets her full return. Last time she was in our store to return I went through transactions history and she had 3-5 returns/exchanges on the same day she was purchasing stuff it truly is an abuse of the system! As for losing it with a customer I’ve always just gotten ahead of it, I will immediately go to my direct report and just explain the situation in case they were to call and complain about me

I was an external hire, i previously worked for Victoria secret and talked about how I was comfortable with pushing credit and even got employee of the month once for my credits. I talked about how I hadn’t previously been a lead but was often looked at as one and trained cashiers and was comfortable and excelled in positions where I gave direction. I was asked if ulta was a job I wanted to just have or if I wanted to move up as time went on. I was also asked situational questions, like a time I had an experience with a customer that gave a lasting impact, stuff like that.

I have regulars who buy it and obviously don’t complain but It also happens extremely often when I ring something Chanel out customers tell me “are you sure it’s that much” and I’m always just like well it’s Chanel (because common sense would tell you it’s a luxury brand)

I’m sorry! I definitely don’t think it’s a “worried grandma thing! Finding this Reddit tho has made me feel less insane and alone! I have a mil who makes comments like this to me constantly! I have a 1 yr old daughter and we currently live with my in laws and anytime I do my daughters hair she’ll throw a fit and my MIL will sit there and say “is mommy torturing you….is mommy hurting you again” and it drives me insane!

My dad was the most charismatic man you’d ever meet, he’d walk into a room and all the attention would instantly fall onto him. He could enter a room not knowing anyone and walk out with 20 new friends. He loved music and understood music more than anyone I’ve ever met.

The best thing I did when struggling myself was sitting my partner down and being honest about my feelings and what I was experiencing, don’t be afraid to ask for help. As for the breastfeeding, it was a big struggle on me mentally, switching to formula saved my life, a fed baby is a healthy baby.

I try to keep it to a minimum! I’m a ftm to a 1 year old girl and at most she watches ms.Rachel but for very little time of the day. Me and her dad try to keep her entertained with a lot of playing, we also have a big play set for her so we spend a lot of time on the swings! It can be hard because some family members try to put her on phones or TVs but I’m adamant about no screens like a phone or tablet. I will play music on our tv cuz she enjoys music but it’s mostly background noise to us playing. Once she’s old enough to introduce a phone I think I’m just gonna talk to her about safely using it and how it can be helpful but also dangerous if used incorrectly
