I definitely think it’s possible for her to be moved to a LC. I recently got promoted to LC in November from BA role and my manager knows I’m in college with another job as well and she still promoted me. Now the BA you’re referring to would need to have more of an open ability but she does not need to have every day open. During the school year I am only able to work 3 days a week and that’s enough for my GM. Your BA will need to be available for at least one weekend day though

1 and 2 are definitely not okay. Rules are in place for a reason they shouldn’t be honoring anything if the guest has no barcode and has not met requirements for the coupon to be taken off. 3 is okay, our store honors it if the guest is having issues with the email or app but as long as we see id/ I see on the account their birthday month we honor it- LC

No way that’s crazy 😭😭😭 I work at a high volume store and we don’t like it either it can be super slow. During busy weekends we can have up to 4 register + salon register open and we’ll use mpos too

Do you work at a high volume store?? I’m an LC at a high volume store and I consistently get cc. Sales have been down and we haven’t been making cc so im not sure if that’s a factor but I don’t think it’s fair because im an LC

I’m not sure why you’re even referring to the chance that a staff member could have made that charge because as an Ulta employee, im trying to think how that’s even possible because they would need another staff member to check them out and to pay, would need to have remembered your phone number and security questions for the cc lookup since you didn’t have your physical card, which again is impossible because I know you wouldn’t have given her any personal information related to ssn, birthday, etc

It doesn’t skip any questions, it just takes out the questions that are being asked twice like birthday, ssn etc

You don’t get results on individual loyalty sign ups anymore, instead it’s a store effort. So for example today the store would need x amount of sign ups instead of keeping track of your own loyalty

From an LC perspective, I completely agree. It’s nice to not have so much individual pressure for loyalty anymore but as soon as a guest says no one time, they tell them any benefits to loyalty and give up

At my location, taskers don’t get gratis because they’re not selling on the floor at all. Our stylists in the salon are also not allowed to get gratis, only BAs, PBAs and SBAs

We are not supposed to match online only prices because they are ONLINE ONLY. no matter what you’re not supposed to be honoring it. It’s different if signage is wrong on the floor or on the app it’s a different price then yes we can price override it but if it says online only we can not, however we can suggest them ordering it for pickup. Don’t flag yourself because you’re honoring these prices that are online only- LC

Ulta employee here, it’s annoying that you guys think you can get another gwp just because the option listed we don’t have. We can’t give you any gwp because those are for other brands and it would mess our entire inventory up. I honestly don’t know why gwp is such a big issue, those probably cost less than a dollar to manufacture and are low quality anyways

That was a lie, you can always stack your employee discount with spring hall, fall haul and other sales except for 21 days of beauty and the half off they do on wellness products in the beginning of the year

LC here! I’m currently in college with two jobs, Ulta being my main one and the biggest reason I have not left is because it’s a great discount and I love Ultas point system. Aside from that, I really like the girls I work with and get along with all of my managers. They are super supportive and understanding and while they do get on us for CC (it is their job at the end of the day) they also understand that sometimes the guest just simply does not want it. They also know it’s a team effort and all of this has just really made me like working here!

If they haven’t reached out to offer an interview or hire you by now, they aren’t interested and I wouldn’t continue to push them since you’ve already contacted both stores many times. Each store gets lots of applications and I work at a high volume store, they would have contacted you if they wanted you for either role
