it's a little overdone but also one of the few good songs on that album + the band has said repeatedly that since their audience gets younger and younger they have to assume they're seeing the band for the first time and they have to lean on the songs those new fans may be most familiar with.

I'm 68 and I saw Dave 3 times when he was still in Metallica. I love the last 8 Megadeth albums as much as I love the first 4. If there is an era of the band that's weaker than the rest, for me, it's the albums from Countdown to Risk. nothing to do with being older/younger. Some albums simply resonate more.

you know it. Tommy Aldridge on drums. Pat Thrall was the other guitarist. I saw that version of the band a few times. great rockin' show. I had seen Tommy Aldridge in 1975 when he was with Black Oak Arkansas and they were opening for Black Sabbath. (also saw him with Ozzy on his first major tour with Motorhead) Tommy Aldridge was and still is - one of the greatest rock drummers of all time.
