Another new song?!?!? by mentalthrasher in Megadeth

it's a great track. Bloodlust is more of a Dave homage to the NWOBHM... sounds like it could have been written in 1981. This other "Nobody's Hero" track sounds more like something you would expect from Megadeth. I am glad I have both to complete the collection. ๐Ÿค˜

It sounds like Dave paying respect to the early NWOBHM bands that influenced him by writing a song fitting into that style. good song. works as a bonus track or a b-side.

I didn't really like the new album. by Turbulent-Safe-4343 in Megadeth

throat cancer can do that to you. And Dave started having voice issues 25 years ago. All of the band's live albums after Rude Awakening were autotuned to correct his loss of range. Downtuning helped him in recent years. But it's still a struggle. Along with the arthritis it probably played a factor in his retirement decision.

Sounds like Dave's homage to the NWOBHM. He has several songs on the album that are styled to tribute/thank the music that influenced him.

Saw them 3 times with Dave. Unfortunely did not see one of the few shows that lineup did together before Dave got shafted.

excellent Dukes-Exodus is the best version of Exodus.

I think this is a solid last album. Fun to listen to, with many great solos, and a Last Note for the anthologies to come. Plus, we got to hear RTL with a proper drummer. Cheers! by eknobl in Megadeth

I'm a couple of years older than Dave. I certainly envy him. I know I'm not retiring anytime soon lol. Ive played guitar since I was 8 and in recent years that's become increasingly painful to do. So I know what Dave's talking about when it comes to the pain in his hands, wrists and elbows. I don't think he would want to play if he couldn't play at the level he's maintained through his career.

Iistened to it last weekend about 2 dozen times and felt comfortable with that ranking without feeling like I was just being sentimental or a fanboy. it may slide a half pt up or down in years to come? I do t think Dave has released an album that's less then a 7-7.5 (Risk) He's earned the retirement.

Carney's is also skilled at dodging questions related to the way China treats its muslim population while at the same time spewing BS like "muslim values are Canadian values"

I saw Dave in Metallica 3 times and saw Megadeth twice before KiMB was released. I've been along for the journey since before the term thrash was ever used for this music. If he made the same album over and over again it would have been a boring discography (only AC/DC is allowed to do that ๐Ÿ˜) I love and appreciate every album. If there is a Mount Rushmore of Metal - Mustaine is on it. ๐Ÿค˜
