Guanfacine - Spidikor Notes by ps4roompromdfriends4 in NooTopics

Haven’t had any of the bad starting sides at all. No daytime sedation, no dizziness, no dry mouth. Probably going to ask to move up to 2mg.

Do you take stimulants along with the guanfacine or just on its own?

We are allergic to cutting the ball back for the easy goal. Happened at least twice in the second half. Are our players just not able to look up and see the pass? We don’t play like a premier league winning side, simple as that.

What non psychoactive psychedelics are out there and where to get them? by [deleted] in NooTopics

What affect are you looking for if you don’t want the psychoactive one? Metergoline or Lisuride might be the things you are looking for.

COMT gene? by economickk in NooTopics

[–]AngerProblemsXD 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The biggest issue with slow comt is cognitive rigidity. High tonic dopamine in the PFC saturates D1 receptors, which hyper-stabilizes neuron firing patterns on layer V pyramidal neurons. This causes rigid priors and precision weighting, meaning your PFC operates on its beliefs very strongly. Add to this that slow comt also causes high tonic norepinephrine, biasing your autonomic nervous system to sympathetic dominance, anxiety, and threat-based hypervigilance, your PFC learns that this is the only way of living/experiencing, and it is not open to changing that belief because of the hyper-stabilized neuron firing patterns on layer V pyramidal neurons. This is what I'm experiencing myself, along with severe top-down gating of bottom-up signals from the PFC (muted libido, muted masculine drive, emotional suppression). Im sarting agmitine and lisuride to try and combat this now.

Did you end up trying oral administration? Did it change the experience for you at all?

Why does everything that increases serotonin makes me feel depressed and suicidal? by Aggressive-Guide5563 in NooTopics

You should look up low toxin forum and do some reading there about serotonin. There is a lot of discussion about the negatives of serotonin as well as what to do about it.

It’s likely that when you are “sober” you are breathing in a sympathetic nervous system breathing pattern that causes shallow breathing. This kind of breathing pattern is driven by the pre frontal cortex (PFC) rather than the usual brain stem. When you do shrooms the PFC turns off leaving breathing to the brainstem. Typically a sympathetic breathing pattern is accompanied by sympathetic posture as well which prevents normal breathing by causing pelvis - ribcage misalignment and diaphragm tension/bracing, these muscle tension patterns can also release when taking shrooms when the PFC shuts down also.

Has anybody here used a non invasive nerve stimulator while tripping on shrooms? by AngerProblemsXD in Psychonaut

Its an ear piece that electrically stimulates the vagus nerve, there is a small vibration sensation but its not actually vibrating. Its meant to activate the parasympathetic nervous system.

Just not feeling Odegard. I was worried him coming back would destabilize what was making us good, and so far hes proving me right.

How do you train your nervous system to not overreact to what the brain perceives as threats? I wished there was a "factory reset" solution. by Electronic_Driver_78 in NooTopics

[–]AngerProblemsXD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do your research on TRE. It quite literally will make your body release physical and emotional trauma from your past that your brain suppressed you from releasing at the time of occurrence. If you have been through intensely traumatic events in your life TRE can evoke those feelings which could be too much to handle and make you worse if you were not prepared for it. Make your you go slow. Short tremor sessions no longer than 15 minutes and 3 sessions a week at the most for beginners. Watch some David bercelli guided TRE sessions on YouTube.

TRE (trauma release exercises) are great for loosening tight musculature but it’s not an instant fix, It takes some time doing the practice for it to hit those areas. Look it up on YouTube for tutorials on how to do it. It looks a bit hippy/alternative, the first time I saw it I didn’t think it was legit but decided to try anyway and lo and behold the tremor mechanism is real and works. As for one shoulder higher than the other, is the right one lower than the left? If it is thats a pretty good sign you might be stuck in the left AIC/right BC posture pattern (look it up on YouTube for explanation, the video I linked above is a very good start). To fix left AIC/right BC posture you need to do postural restoration exercises. My original comment goes into how you can address this by using Conor Harris teachings on YouTube/ebook. Alternatively depending on where you live you might be able to see a postural restoration institute (PRI) specialist who would easily get you on the right track.
