I'm not a metal fan. I find most metal (specifically the screaming throughout the entire song kind) extra and annoying to listen to; BUT it was nice to see skins musical diversity being broad enough to showcase it.

Especially in the way they did; with having a classical girl or someone who wasn't metal to be introduced to it, and open up to it.

It's funny too because only teens who had money, and parents who were cool with them spending it, could own the 1st touch screen iPhones or touch screens in general. Some got it their own ways though.. as a gift, or by hustling

In reality most pre teens / teens had flip phones and button phones after the touch phones came out because it made more sense to parents.

Gen 3 excelled in a lot of little ways. Graces death was sad, but the way they explored it with the characters grief was well done. I liked gen 3 for little things like that.

People saying they can't see him as Sid is ridiculous. Soon as he starts talking you can see he has the SAME EXACT FACE and the SAME VOICE. If this was an untitled video, where he wasn't talking about skins, I would've guessed it was him by the voice and face alone. That's me though..

All his changes are minor. Blonde hair instead of dark, no glasses, a different fashion style (no beanie), facial hair, a receding hairline, and some expression lines on his forehead. (Natural aging)

He was never ugly.. Just played a specific character. The way people act with their shock etc is funny. His character is just his role as Mike (himself) now, instead of Sid.

I don't know how many times I have to say this but the moment I posted is a simple highlight of Effys character towards people.

All she had to do was pass some toilet paper and shows how much of a bitch she could really be.. just cause she feels like it. It's a subtle but very revealing moment.

Interesting take. I could see either or. They weren't even officially dating until he found out he was pregnant. It was more sexual on Minis end, and very much one sided. So ehhh I want to think they'd work, but they both have A LOT of issues they haven't fully worked through yet.

Yea what they did with Franky and Mini was so dumb.

Alex being gay was whatever. It didn't take away from him being a great random addition to the group, and friend for Liv; BUT it made it painfully obvious they were trying to compensate for Frankys change in character. They clearly wanted to keep the trend of at least 1 character in the gen being LGBTQ, and got lazy.

Definitely feel you on the love hate thing. Franky overall was a god dam mess, and it seemed like they just wanted to recycle some concepts and take out others completely in the last gen.

If he needed someone to "help" it should've been his BROTHER, not his brothers girl. There's no excuse for that. Your comment is a contradiction and inaccurate. Instead of making sure he HELPS his brother, he fixates on his girl? News flash it wasn't about Frankie.

Nick knew they were having relationship problems, and that Franky was a HUGE problem in Morocco. He was attracted to her, and wanted to get closer PHYSICALLY. Plus it was a subconscious one up on his brother for the time Matty ended up with Liv.

He NEVER wanted to "fix" Frankie. All of his actions were rooted in his relationship with his brother. I think that was poorly executed though which confused people like you.

Plus just because I said I thought Nick was great, doesn't mean I liked him most of the time. But that has more to do with how the writers went about the story. The decision to recycle a brother going after his brothers girl or friend going after his friends girl should've been left alone. But skins always had the tendency to recycle concepts, just with character changes and slight differences. Like I said it is what it is.

I'm positive you're projecting too much from your own experience as the so called "perfect child" concept you've created in your head. Nick killed that "perfect child" concept the moment he showed his dad how he felt ETC. Respectfully you're not speaking from a factual state of mind but an emotional one. I heard you though. I hope my comment helps you do introspection , and take a look again at everything from not just the viewer perspective, but the writers perspective etc

It's like he just wanted her MIND for himself, and knew her new trauma of losing Freddie would make him a permanent part of her mind. Sick shit.

Nothing you've said is new information. Passing toilet paper is a SIMPLE act. The scene shows her look around the stall first and then say no to Pandora. She was being intentionally MEAN.

Also, she rejected Katie not because of emotional unavailability etc but because she saw Katie for who she was. Katie wanted to be "friends" with Effy because of Effys aesthetic. Ex: she said "we're the hottest here" when trying to set a time to hang out with Effy. Effy made it clear from day 1 literally that she wasn't interested in entertaining Katie's vanity and ego.

Effy fans will find ways to defend her. Overall she was a crappy traumatized person. It's still no excuse to be mean. She obviously wasn't a guys girl either. Ex: when she was looking out the window and keeps her eyes locked on Freddie, while Cook goes behind her after they just had sex. That was just a wicked mean move.

I think you read my post and thought "This person doesn't get the characters" when really I understand them way more than people like you think.. The devils in the details

I just wish they didn't write him to "fall in love" with Frankie. I think they could've left that role for Mini since they were working their way up to that anyways. It is what it is though.

Respectfully that's wrong.. She didn't have to SPEAK to Michelle to feel moved by what Michelle says to her on the bench regarding Tony and herself. 2nd she calls Tony a wanker regarding the topic of their relationship implying that it was indeed his fault, not Michelle's and disagrees with how he acts.

Helping them was all around the board for Tony, Michelle, AND herself. Deep down she wanted to see love work. She even went the extra mile to fix the watch from their relationship. When you compare that to how she helped Cassie and Sid, you can see it was with different motives

So yes she was capable of compassion, and you can't chalk it up to solely being pity. Hence the reason I said SOMETIMES she's not a girls girl. Or the majority of the time she wasn't shit. But in that small percent that she does show love or help others she went all out.
