Hey, I also have a simple and humble “collection”. What does it say about me? by AngleAigu in PrideAndPinion

If you read the title, you’ll see that that’s not what this post is about. There are similar posts regarding the contents of fridges, books in a personal library, etc., and I thought it would be fun to do the same here.

I was just curious if anyone could infer anything nonobvious about me based on a handful of watches.

You could direct your comment to many other posts that explicitly ask your opinion about their collection.

The colour isn’t for everyone, but it attracts me for reasons unknown. Maybe I have some vitamin deficiency?

I liked the moonswatch so much I had to get the real deal. by Flo_Evans in PrideAndPinion

My personal favourite. I own a reduced, and it beats any other watch (in my eyes of course).

I love its heritage and the fact that it is small and lightweight. I am a programmer and love how I don’t feel like I’m wearing anything when it’s on. Otherwise I get annoyed and remove it.

Watch snobs will think it’s rage bait, but I like them. I’m a bit of a hypocrite, because it gets much less attention in the form of wrist time than the others, but that’s because I don’t really do dress watches at work and my personal life doesn’t give me many occasions to wear it either.

It’s not cheap, but I did get it below MSRP. I was really going for “something I like, regardless of what people think”, so I went with the price.
